As a jays fan i like the song, although severely outdated, Brewers are obviously no longer in the AL, and no mention of the Rays. It would be better if they kept the tune but updated the song.
@raptorsfan29 Yes! I was thinking about that very thing a few days ago! The song was written when the Blue Jays were in Exhibition Stadium. Now they are in "Rogers SkyDome"!!!! I refuse to call it what Rogers has dubbed it....... I agree with you. They should get the guy that sang the song, keep the tune and the refrain and update the lyrics.
For all you kiddies out there who weren't around when this song came out, the reference to "Billy" at 1:55 into the song is of the New York Yankees "legend" manager, Billy Martin, a true legend in Major League baseball!!!
@sharkey58 Hey! You are correct!!! Way back (BEFORE SkyDome) around the time that this song was made, Billy Martin was managing Oakland and was "not" a legend, per se. However, he was well-known in baseball circles, even at that time! Kinda prophetic, though, that they would specifically name him in this song BEFORE his "later tenures" with George Steinbrenner and the New York Yankees. That is what he is best known for in his managerial career. Thanks for the reply! ;-)
They are the "Blue Jays", NOT the "Jays" as Rogers would like them to be called. They won their back-to-back World Series Championships in "SkyDome", not "Rogers Centre". The World Series champions did not wear black shirts and white pants that make them look like a AA baseball team. There is nothing wrong with the traditional Toronto Blue Jays uniform and logo. After all, we won two World Series championships with them, not to mention all the Division Championships and Pennants!

Type in the Search field, "Toronto Blue Jays new" and all of the videos will show. I believe there are four videos on these changes that I made comments on. Even the players are excited about this! The next thing they need to do is to get rid of the name "Rogers Centre".
