My question: since this a marvellous machine, why is it out of stock at the company that makes them? Oh, you can get them on the web.
I am 57, I just got mine through Craigslist for $100. It works wonderfully. After 3 weeks, I've gotten the hang of it and I'm doing a kilometer 3 times a day. No knee impact as with running. No need to go to a gym and change into a swimsuit. No need to wait for good weather. It's wonderful!
I used to have one of these and i lost 60 pounds in 2 months after riding it for 30 minutes a day..I wonder if they still make these units cause i sure would like to purchase another one, my ex-wife took mine lol.
@needtolooselots Wow, what a jerk for taking yours haha! But yeah, they still sell them, just go to the Nordic Track website, or you can usually get one for REALLY cheap on craigslist
I got mine for free from Freecycle. At first it seemed hard to use, but that was because the abdominal pad was not adjusted high enough. Been using it for a week, and it's an awesome workout!
I have been using it since 1995. Recently, I am in a need of some parts. Unfortunatley, I cannot reach customer service. I wrote to many places, but to no avail. No answer from the States nor Europe. Now, I am staying in Poland, I have a qustion, too. Jus how reliable these readings concerning burnt calories are ? I step down from the machine dripping with sweat...... the meter shows tells me I skied away 800 cal..... is it true? Please respond, whoever.
I bought one for $20 at a garage sale...I mix it into my routine with the treadmill and elliptical. Still a great workout and targets the quads more so than the other machines.
