  • Truly beautiful bird.

  • OUCH............sickening mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As the fuel tank emptied in the nose of the aircraft the center of gravity shifted further and further back causing the plane to become progressively less stable especially when the aircraft is near empty and at stall speed.

  • It breaks my heart to see that.

  • :o :O Ohhh!!!! the crash was hard!

  • i thought the jets were real haha XP

  • Jets HATE going slow. They always seem to tumble when slow flying. Good piloting skills though. Thumbs Up!

  • Scale airplanes don't fly like their big brothers. The aerodynamics don't work the same. That's why this aircraft was unstable on landing approach, otherwise it flew nicely on power at speed.

  • @MrLuigiFercotti You also got to think about the different wing profile that it has to the real one and no assistance by computers ;)

  • CG muito atras, por isso o avião desce com um angulo de ataque muito elevado. Difícil de pousar assim.

CG long ago, so the plane descends to a very high angle of attack. Hard landing as well.

  • bellissimi

  • what a noob ... firstable try a bleriot before flying a jet ... =D =D =D =D

  • I was hoping for an explosion

  • ouch! ;)

  • This thing need more than flaps to land, a very good pilot and nerves of steel!

  • dont like the two balls and the nose gear hanging

  • trajédia anunciada!!!!!!!!

  • Saturday 12-06-2008 David Searles Testing His New Jet. No problem his Jet

  • every approach had the aircraft close to stall, hence the wings rocking, on the final one he just pushed his luck with a very low speed for such a heavy model.

  • you obviously are shit ass at landing planes, thank god you are not a real pilot

  • that sucks but good flying though

  • HE AINT NO MAVERICK!KILLA JET THO.TOP SPEED?

  • you can really see heat waves come out the vectors! next time retract landing gear in flight & decelerate upon landing, standing from an oncoming or going view

  • if he could only fly a real plane

  • Man, that F/A 18 sounds awesome!!!

  • good landing considering the crash. THe engines are very expensive and you managed to save them. Good job!

  • haha sounds like a real one

  • This looks like an extremely expensive hobby, but so cool

  • Fly - Yes. Land - NO!

  • The plane is to heavy for the wing, looks like the CG is slightly off all so. Not saying it can't be landed, but just difficult and airspeed will need to be high for smooth transition.

  • puta que pario esse cara e burro kkkkk um monomodeo desse custa naquela epocar um 5 mil reias kkkk eu tinha um mono modelo esse se fudel kkkk

  • Less flaps!

  • can he land any slower than full speed? he doesn't need the double shot of nitrus on landing. the way he was rocking back and forth? just wow. that's all i can say. wow.

  • Thats terrible and such a sshame since its a beautiful model.

  • seems tail heavy.. very sensative elevator....

  • @ mountainflyer, amazing comment you must be a genius to come up with something like that I had better back off! You slack jawed redneck fool

  • Well, that's one way to land...

  • How did this guy get a jet wavier ?

  • thats what you get for buying CHEAP NASTY TOY planes

  • @alistairpalau lame ass

  • Question for you guys who fly model jets.....Do you know of anyone who has made an jet that has the capability to adjust the exhaust vents to more thrust?!

  • that bich has a ****ing nice sound to it man its sad it crashed :(

  • Such a shame

  • fail....at the end :p

  • did someone just fart? bllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrppppp

  • oh dear

  • deploy the parchute at the back if you cant land it :D

  • lucky basterd

    could of been worse

  • Simple problem... not enough airspeed. Also approach was unstable (lack of airspeed makes control surfaces less responsive)

** Less flaps would have just made it stall out sooner.

  • if u can out retracts on it. it'l go faster

  • nice job! love the sound ;)

  • rookie error. too much flap in my opinion. need to keep the throttle on and power it down. check your c of g too.

  • omg that was a very cheap model

    the pilot wasn´t good

  • who likes the smell of rc car gas i know it is random

  • @aceofdoimonds2 hell yeah nitro smells awesome! agreed!

  • omg what a retarded landing

  • Well thats better landing then some, not a total write off at least.

  • PULL UP COUGAR, SOME MORE POWER, COUGAR! POWER! POWER!

  • @tomcatdrivergypsy101 that was an F14 this as an F18 :)

  • Play 2:29 for the Crash

  • What does a plane like this cost?

  • @Jllucky8 too much for a landing like that!

    But at least it's rebuildable!

  • fake

  • Why is it so loud omg

  • shit.. i'd rather crash that high, then doing a fly by and crashing right into the ground

  • Nice

  • looks like a beginner's first try to land on a carrier.

  • easy touch up but still the fact of that crashing would of made me horrified

  • dang that cost alot of cash to buy it

  • he just stalled it,i think anyways.

  • @willsworthy Wasn't stall :P his back end clipped the runway which caused his wings to dip hard :).

  • @Ckymatt22

What? He's at a 45 degree bank 2 feet off the tarmac... Um hello?

Air speed too low, did he have flaps?

  • damn he landed it on the worst approach

  • all he would have needed to do is ditch the flaps and it would have been easier.

  • the left hand stabiliser was jittering after the engine was started, and was still jittering after it had slid to a stop, that's why it dived to the left on approach in my opinion. was the pilot oblivious to the movements? looks like a faulty servo, reciever or radio.

  • Look at the Arab and the Jew and see what they have done!!! it will really surprise you.. check it out ....Travel without Borders and Be Free.....

  • lol poor toy pilots

  • yeah you can't make excuses.... no matter what its always the pilots fault.

  • a gyro system wouldve helped so so so much

  • nice video but this was more of a failed landing than a crash

  • This is what happens when these guys go for the gold when they need to think about qualifications first! It's apparent this guy forewent the basics, and jumped into something beyond his skill level. He tried to play it off when he failed the landing the first time, and did a follow up touch and go to front. The third one proved that he was not ready for this devise. Just because you have mad ca$h, doesn't mean you are automatically deserving, or ready. This accident cost him at least $1,000.

  • @PaulJrSucks Dang ... u too tuff on dude... I doubt that was his first flight. He needs slats for the Superbug. That kit is poorly designed in my opinion. The user tried to land with high Alpha as away to slow the jet down. Clearly this kit cant fly slow. That's the problem with scale jets... you can't model something to be accurate with out modeling everything.

Add the leading edge slats...and this kit may work. Also add a speedbrake.

  • u need a hobbie bro

  • ouchhhieeeee.......!!!!!!!!1pity those pilots...hehe..nvr pity the controller..

  • You know you could buy a real airplane for the amount of money you spent on that.

  • @mvrk15 I wouldn't look half as cool and you'de have to pay for maintance storage fuel etc.

  • what a ashole!!!

  • lol how much cash did u put into tht plane

  • Buy yourself a stabilizer!!!!

  • Where the afterburners at ? FAIL ! No ammo to nail that annoying little farty plane..FAIL !! And the landing ??? ummm ..it begins with F?? ah yeh..FAIL !! nice lil toy tho . Shame u broke it..

  • nice nice flying

  • nice landing

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • I was thinking it would be better with a retractable undercarriage: now it has!

  • great job anyway!!!!!

  • lm okay said the pilot.....

  • ah, the taxpayers'll pick up that one, no worries.

  • feeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwfff

    just small repairs....

  • put that over iraq lol

  • it looks awesome dude nice video

  • Love the jet noise.................

Landing one of these is a hell of a lot harder than it looks!

  • @cayman1959 and it didnt look easy....

  • @cayman1959 agreed!!!!!!A lot harder..

  • hey this is right by my house. this is near van nuys right?

  • It looks tail heavy to me.

  • tip stall or over correction. most of the approaches were sketchy. maybe it would be worth buying a large edf f18 to practice with flight characteristics. start adding weight to make it a little more difficult to handle....landings faster. then get back to the expencive turbine one.

  • LOL!!!!! Nice landing! the next time you have the urge to waste money give it to your mom..she needs it to get out of the projects.

  • Comment removed

  • wow.....

    one or two engines?

  • It looks heavy..

Maybe you need a larger plane/wing area or it needs to go on a diet.

  • Get yourself a trainer

  • Pilot thought he was landing a harrier lol.

    Lovely model :-)

  • @phippsa3 rofl. (Best YouTube comment to date.

  • @phippsa3 not so lovely anymore :(

  • RC is gettin' damn dangerous!!!

It's about time they put ejector seats in them for those cute little pilots!

  • how can it have 3 fuel tanks when its electric?

  • @kil3r14 Oh nevermind. It sounded electric because of my headphones lol

  • bad landing fucker

  • I'm thinking that Jet Rc Pilots need to start at the lowest weight possible... The hevier it is.. the faster and harder it is to control it and land it. I was thinking The ViperJet with its long wingspan- Seems like it would glide better... Although they do make "Top" wing models... Rc Jet Trainers- A pilot I met at a Club field said it takes an average of 4 years of flying prop-sport planes to fully prepare a jet. Then when you do get a jet.. get a trainer jet to start off... work your way up.

  • pilot has intermediate skills at best .

  • you should have landed form the other way and stall the engine and glided it in . some how cross wind. there.

  • Full up elevator too early will do that .

  • How much does it cost?!! that's sickkk!!!

  • Bring it in too fast and you run out of runway--too slow and it stalls out -- tough choice.

  • Where did u get that plane i really really want one of those!!

  • if i had one s would just put cerry booms all over it and crash it or explode in mind air that would be sick

  • This is to GIJOE Perfect-Scale.

  • Like a glove

  • Thats one nice ass model.

  • coooooool

  • aaarghh!!!

  • how much did that cost ?

  • great job

  • you come too fast

  • @pcpilot96

Too fast??? with this high alpha???

    Too slow man!

  • retract the landing gear?

one of the prettiest model jets I've ever seen

  • there any gyros in this plane?

  • this needs that FPV camera system where you can fly remotely just like in bad company 2 !!!!!

  • @blanknamehotmail It IS real! Did you think it was photo-shopped?

  • @jasmine2501 Idiot He meant real life sized

  • @addsers There's a word for that... "real" is not it...

  • That was dismal.

  • that how they landed their planes on the first carriers:D way to go^^ (Y)

  • wow

  • as if would be real hehe 1:17

  • dont know much about rc planes but looks like he could'nt land it properly.

im sure he'll get it in the end

  • Ok, he just said he broke something on his "maiden flight" so this had to be his 2nd flight. I can safely say that I broke enough shit on my first couple of landings so give him a break. He is learning by doing.

  • @ManhatanProj3ct you learn to fly with an EP plane, or something that not cost like a fucking car. He must be, or rich, or idiot (and most likely, BOTH). Even if i were rich, i wouldnt fly that thing without proper training, and, of course, i will fly as slave radio with an experienced trainer. We are talking about a, how much? 8000€ beast? c'mon... He deserves just every bad comment.

  • @ComandanteJ If I had the money I would buy one. Maybe he did learn on an electric plane, but apparently there is a learning curve on the jets. Like I said, Learn by doing.

  • shit deploying mini airbags

  • rich boy toy

  • Not to smart doing slow & low fly byes with that kind of a plane. (Unless you don't care about money) Just watching I knew it was going to crash. Is the pilot a beginner? You can't thrust up & down quick on a jet like a prop plane, you need to allow time for the engine to spool up.

  • @UtRadioGuy

read the caption. apparently he was trying to get the landing approach right, and phailed horribly.

  • hope the tiny pilots are OK

  • MUITO BOM..........

  • Dawmn! It hurts!

    Too good wasn't large damages.

    Nice plane

  • The f/a-18 also has vector thrust nozzles

  • @MiG21fan Really? Starting when?

  • To jest na prawdę trudny manewr. Jak model lata jeszcze?

  • 2:21 would've made a good landing

  • Scusa....ma và a portare i trattori barbone!!!!

  • fucking kids the porps woe the masters spitfire i liked the most

  • @bdwag12 Is there anyone that can translate this comment for me?

  • Yea those hornets are tough to get used to landing. You really have to fly them into the deck on landings, you'll get it soon enough. Beautiful plane tho.

  • That looks more like an F15 replica dude.

    Hornets are single engine.

    :)

  • you sir are wrong. it is a hornet. they are twin engine. notice the slanted vertical tail fins....ONLY hornets have that. f15 vertical tail fins are 90 degrees to the horizontal tail fins.

  • Yes! You're right. I got it all messed up.

    My apologies!

  • @allantotti hornets are dual engines. I was in the Marine Corps and us and the navy flew them. They are dual engines. The single engine you are probably referring to is the f16. Just wanted to correct you on that one.

  • Yes! You're right. I got it all messed up.

    My apologies!

  • @allantotti Sorry but your way off. F/a 18 Hornets are twin turbine aircraft. F15's are as well, but F15 have straight up and down rear vertical stabs, also their air inlets are way far forward almost even with the cockpit. FA18's have angled rear stabs and their inlets are swept further back, tucked under the wind. The 2 aircraft's wings, are nothing alike. This is a F/A18 Hornet replica. regardless they are both beautiful aircraft

  • that looked very unstable at low speed

  • what a crap pilot

  • an air break may help to bring it in slower, with out pulling back on the stick? I have seen some people add them on r.c. jets, so as to come in slower w/more control, they just checked the real thing to see where it's at, good luck

  • He dosn't know what astall looks like or at least how to tell one is imanent. Here's a tip: unstable roll+high nose pitch+low speed=what you did. STALL! I don't mean to sound harsh.

  • Wow, that plane looks like a handfull, and with turbines like that being so dammed expensive, i think i'll stick to nitro's and electrics. They sure sound cool though

  • thats what you get when you try to hover a f18 modell

  • lrn2 high alfa

  • All Navy pilots land like that.
