One of the issues with the 2012 game, was that if you were a Lotus or a Virgin and playing on hard or expert, catching the cars up front was a tall order. And that´s fine. But in my second season, I switched to Mercedes and every single time I gained like 4 seconds a lap on the backmarker, the same car would suddenly drive really fast. Also they gave way too easy once you are close to overtake them. A slight manouvre with the wheel and they drop back 100 meters.

It's a real shame, I've followed F1 sims since 1995 and been heavily involved in online racing (Tyka.com check it out) to hear guys like Anothony Davidson talk this game up so much is extremely disappointing, what a fool I say. Yes it is fun to play but I can not believe how CM got it so wrong.

I agree to you that the game has still some problems with bugs. However the patch increased the playability a lot. Now I enjoy playing it again. And Monaco is still a special case. This accident was in the first round, all cars were together and the 'failure calculation did what it was supposed to do. But with all the cars being that close together, this created a mass effect and this was the result. With even me not being able to elude, this was a possible accident and not a bug
