  • If you kill one member of a pack, the rest will hunt you down and kill you (aparently)

  • poor boo boo, yogi u should have protected boo boo!

  • Well the bottom line is, you know more than I do about wolves LOL I just don't think that we need to go killing wolves off because herds of elk, deer, caribou (You get the drift) are diminishing. I don't think we need to take measures that drastic when there are animals in even more danger (Tigers, pandas, lions etc.)

  • Yeah I guess so. People hunting however is purely for sport (Well most of the time. I think hunting for food is okay as long as the animal does't suffer too much and it doesn't go to waste.) while wolves pick off the weakest animals, making future generations stronger. One carcass can feed a wolf pack for weeks, they probably only ever kill once a month or scavenge off bears. (Scavenging off bears sounds easier to me but I'm not a wolf so I wouldn't know XD)

  • That's the shakiest camera work ever!!!! You can get motion sickness just watching the video.... Where u scared or what?

  • Just read the info. As stated, I was in a boat... on the water...

  • WHigginson - Absolutely right , Wolves are not needed !!!!

  • Great Video. Dont like all the misinformation on your chat though. Wolf numbers are at all time highs in Canada. (Because poison drops stopped) Next Moose and Caribou populations will reach all time lows!! Then the wolves starve to death.. Mother nature runs in cycles. update your data Tinyman6, your way out of date. Winter or Humans keep populations stable(or decimate them) Also! came across pack of 18 wolves last month.. 1 in 8 kills my arse! 18 wolves surround and kill everything they find.

  • all time highs in canada yes .... but in the united states WOLFS ARE ENDANGERED in most places lol.... honestly you can say im way out of dat but im not from where im from and to be honest whats funnier animals have always survoves and adapted without humans help before we had all this knowledge so how are you to say they will kill a whole population is beyong exageration, especially when in june 2009 grey wolves were put back on the endangerd species list after only being off for 2 months lol

  • way out of date by canada standards BUT NOT where im from in da us lol my bad mad typos galore

  • If any of you feel hatred towards this wolf, I'll have you know that bears kill wolf pups as well. They are both trying to eliminate the competition (each other).

  • that would have been his last meal if i seen him in the woods!

  • pussy.. the wolf needs to eat too!

  • I don't see how that statement makes me a pussy. Timber wolves are rapidly decreasing herd populations in northern Wisconsin

  • Rapidly? What herds?

  • And people hunting isn't? only 1 in 8 (Or something along those lines) wolf kills are ver successful.

  • Herds of bears? Timber Wolves aren't rapidly decreasing herds of anything, anywhere that they don't need to be decreased. They have been proven to be very helpful in managing healthy herds of elk, moose, and deer.

  • @okieroadhunter - The N Yellowstone Elk Herd was reduced fron 20,000 to 9,450 in 3 yrs. 86 Wolves destroyed this herd.

  • timber woves are making population STABLE u moron learn your facts not decreasing populations lol in my case it does make u a pussy trying to defend yourself by lying pussy :)

  • whatever you say man, I mean your the professional right? Maybe ill get lucky and see your faggot ass in the woods

  • Comment removed

  • id call this a hate crime

  • it looks clearly like a wolf at 4:02 and a black bear cub at 0:26

  • Nutimik lake in Manitoba? I went camping last summer out there for half a week, it's really beautiful. Caught a massive Sturgeon.

  • where´s the cougar on this video?

  • Nice video man. I wonder if that bear cub wasnt already dead or just "bearly" alive..I didnt hear any bawling from it. Thanks for posting. Definetly a wolf.

  • that looks nothing like a cougar, I am watching the high quality version so I can see it's clearly a wolf or a large coyote

nice video, a rare capture for sure

  • So where was the sow? They stay with their young. Wonder if she wasn't shot?

  • Good reply. Somebody has their head on straight!

  • I guess will have to take your word for it since there was no viewable video as proof...

  • No hay razon por el cual sentirse mal asi es la madre naturaleza¡

    Jov.

  • Couple of questions:

    1)Where is the cub's mother?

    2) Where is the rest of the pack to join in on festing on the kill? I know it's a small, easy target. And an adult wolf would take a very small bear cub easily by itself anyway. But, where are the others? Is it a "rogue" wolf?

  • You are right. It's interesting how there was only one wolf.I wonder if they only pack up in winter, or specific times of the year. Good point.

  • where was the bears mom? probably snorting blueberry's and shaking her ass down stream with all the other low life bears. bad parenting on the bears part.

  • That's funny!LMAO!!!

  • Fuck the wolves and Bears! Sorry hippie bead necks. Let the wolf kill the bear, then shoot the wolf. it's a twofer......

  • im not a "hippie bead neck" but there are wolflovers out there!

    and im one of them.

    i hate comments like these.

have the bear kill the hunter and the wolf kill the bear. :P

  • Wolf lover is all fine, up in AK we have a wolf population that is out of control. Their numbers in some boroughs are greater than they were 100 years ago.

  • Learn to hold that fucking camera still, that video had givin' me a headache.

  • As I stated above Friend, you need to read the caption. As it says, I am in a boat... on the water. Things on the water go up and down. Simple math will tell you that when you are zoomed in to 400X zoom, at that distance even a single degree of angle will create a 5.5' variance, and if the boat rocks to an included angle of 20 degrees, that's 110' of camera angle variance. I'd say I did pretty well.

Oh and one more thing, don't post if that's all you have.

  • is it just me or did somthing look different about that wolf? it looked like some sort of hybrid wolf/coyote/dog to me

  • wow..poor bear it go separated from its mommy..go WOLVES!

    ~sorry bear lovers

  • Ha! A wolf versus a bear cub! And the wolf wins! Get 'em wolves! I hate bears! Kill them all off!

  • great footage

  • Mikedog1975...get a life you friggin loser!! DUH...probably some asshole hunter killed the cubs mother..YOUR AN IDIOT!! Its called the circle of life you dumb ass...cover your eyes and dont cry if that was too hard for you to watch...GROW UP AND GET BACK TO LIFE HERE ON EARTH!! Like it or not...thats the way it is.

  • and that's why the earth is slowly dying, humans

  • And you know this is why the cub is being attacked is because a hunter shot the mother??!! What are you the killer?? Its nice how retards like you and big mikedog love to jump on the hunters ass when you dont even know what happened. Hey what the hell NOTHING lasts forever..not even you..like it or not EVERYTHING DIES!!! Nice conclusion you guys draw though Im sure it makes watching mother nature a little easier on you.

  • are you an hunter?

  • nice video,thanks !!

  • HOLD THE CAMERA STILL FOR GODSAKES

  • they are on a fucking boat how can they keep still

  • bad filming, can u go next to them plz

  • wear's the bear's maaammmmaaa

  • that wolf is smart take that damn bear when you have the chance

  • nice video!!!

  • Note to self: Always bring a gun with you when you go fishing, you never know when a good opportunity might arise to kill a wolf.

  • ...and why exactly would you do that? it serves no purpose, and people who find that entertaining are heartless and are better off dead(im not saying that all hunters are evil, just the one that truly enjoy killing the animals, not getting close to nature, and you people who think like that are slowly killing the earth

  • It actually does serve a purpose. It's not entertaining but it is necessary where I live. We have a large number of wolves here and we lose a lot of stock to them every year. Depredation of wolves is becoming common place after the wolf re-introduction went so horribly wrong and the over population of wolves started threatening peoples way of life.

  • environmentalist. this happens in nature, and someone was lucky and kind enough 2 share this video with us. if u don't like that, why r u watching a vid about a wolf killing a bear in the 1st place?

  • ...and get thrown in jail for a year and pay a fine of 10 grand........

    great idea genius.

  • bastard wolf

  • YAY for the wolf

  • the wolf jusy got lucky that the famale bear wasnt there lol, it wouldve been the meal itself to the mother bear

  • wow nature is racist. a WHITE wolf, beating down a BLACK cub....lulz

  • haha, so true.

  • the young of most animals are all prey to carnivores...

    even humans...

  • UUMMMM... You're kidding right? OK, Let me see... You think I should have jumped out of a boat, swam to shore, clawed my way up a vertical rock face and put myself between a carnivorous wolf, (who by the looks of him needs a good meal) and his meal. All the while leaving my own son alone on the lake. Tell you what, you try it and let me know how it works out for you. Better yet just think before you post.

  • I love animals-but I agree. Only an idiot would try to get involved. The mother bear could also be near...

    let nature take its course...

  • sweet video..sorry about stupid posters...once in a lifetime is an understatement...wolf killing bear-awesome!

  • honestly, I don't know where blueberry hill is, this was just downstream and to the left of Sturgeon Falls (when viewed from looking upstream. Right by the tall rock face. Yuo kow about Nutimik?

  • Bizarre! I've never seen that combination of kill and killer. Thanks for the vid.

  • I trust that mean old wolf was found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

That poor cub will never raise a family of it's own, or go to college, or any of that type of human stuff!

    I'm forwarding this to PEATA

  • LOL

  • youre so gay! fuck off moron! get a life!

  • PETA stands for "People Eating Tasty Animals"

OOOHHH, I know I'll hear about that one... lol
