If you did proper universal healthcare like most of the developed countries in the world say the UK for example they only spend 8% of GDP on health care and get better results america pay 16% of GDP so theoretically amercia could save 8% of GDP and make money from taxing marijuana and could sort out its deficit very quickly. but its not going to happen because america has leaders that paid off by prison owners who benefit from prohibition and health insurance companies which benefit from no UH

It's a good thing that potency has increased. It means you have to smoke less of it to feel its effects, which means less smoke entering your lungs, which means less risk for lung cancer and other such complications.

Just to answer a few questions I see out there:

- Intentions: the fear of the unknown. Imagine you see a new drug come out on the market and it makes people act like they are retarded (excuse the language) but it gives them a good "trip". How would you think that is good for them?

- Price: Simple rule of supply and demand. If there is more availability, = more supply, the price goes down.

- Potency: I don't think I have to explain that one, just look out there, google weed 20 years ago and look.
