I fought The Biolizard. It was NOT that hard. That Mario Bouldergeist killed me a million times. The hardest bosses in history were on N.E.S. though. Man, I tried to beat Shadow Link at the end of Zelda 2 (On the CONSOLE, NOT an emulator!), and I tried to do it straight up without cheating. MAN, that was hard. Never beat him without the cheat trick. It was fun fighting him without cheating though.

Damn I never even got up to K. Rool in DK64. The stupid retro Donkey Kong game got me. Not to mention you have to beat it twice in order to get the Nintendo coin which allowed you to progress further in Hideout Helm and i didn't even beat it once to get the banana. Gruntilda is pretty hard especially in replay, got up to the gas part and died after being worn down slowly over time, not suffocation. During the normal game she is quite easy. Weldar is actually not that hard.

@imranyo If you go into the battle prepared, he can't do that. Yes, he is among the most difficult enemies I have faced...but I beat him on the highest difficult at level 70 max. KHI, he's significantly harder, but still beatable...for the second, though, he's actually fun to fight.

The final battle against Cackletta isn't very hard. For the going first issue, just boost your speed with chuckle blends or buy pant that let you go first automatically. The attacks can be hard to dodge, but if you concentrate all your attacks to a specific point, you should do just fine.

10: Shadow Queen. Gave me a hell of a hard time because I was DOING IT WRONG! I had 125 HP 15 FP 6 BP. I went back, went to Chet Rippo, got my HP down to 50, FP up to 45, and my BP up to 33. I upgraded Bobbery for his final move and got all necessary badges and healing items. Then once you actually FIGHT her all you do is spam Ultra Jump and Bob-Ombast.

Did anyone else find King Helmasaur from A Link to the Past really difficult? It took me a while to finally figure out how to dodge his fireballs. He definately has to be one of the most annoying because one of the rooms before the battle with him is filled with turtles and its pretty hard not to get hit a couple times. I found that its a lot easier to beat him with a potion.

Bouldergeist on both modes is REALLY easy for me, I don't think he should be on the list. His attacks are slow and don't really do much of anything, so they're easy to dodge. The only hard part is when he loses all the rocks and starts running around.
