that was the best tool show i've seen.... wings 1 and 2 were moving.... i've seen tool 4 times and it changes my life everytime.... now lets all go home and have sex....
the drunk fucking retards ruined the best tool concert ive been to, 13,000+ people(that i could hear) were drowning maynard out...it was pathetic, im sure they all call themselves tool fans, but if they were, they wouldntve done that.
I agree but would tie him with Paul Di'Anno the original singer of Iron Maiden, who a lot of people don't like. I don't understand how Maynard screams so loud for such a small guy, but it awakens something in all of us that primal scream. As for Paul Di'Anno ether you love him or hate him-seems to be the case usually. I'm not discrediting Maynard cause he's been singing for a long time also. I don't know much about his 80's music. Regardless i like your comment. Tool Forever!!
Ya I was there too, It was fucking amazing to say the least. the lightshow was fucking nuts, and did I mention everyone was fucking wasted... yeah 50,000 wasted people rockin out, what did you think when all the people lit thier lighters at once that was fuciing awsome till my lighter melted onto my hand.
I was there. That show was one of the best shows I have seen by any artist. I have seen hundreds of shows but Maynard rocked that stage and venue like I have never seen. If you missed this show, DO NOT miss the next one!
this was such a spectacular show, this video doesnt do it justice, the visuals on stage and around the stage and in the sky were absolutly mind blowing. Not to mention that the view behind the stage was breathtaking, especially during sunset. Even without that... one kick ass video. Thanks for helping me relive this night =)
I worked at the gorge for this concert, taking tickets..first off I let a lot of people in for free, because tool is the shit and everyone should see them...even people who don't like them (aka lame people), the men who came through my line were the hottest men i have ever seen (hot people like tool, i guess), and the reason i worked there was because i gave my ticket to my mom and i still wanted to see them, and by working there i got to see them for free
hot people don't mean shit. who cares about them. i came from 680 miles away. this was the best concert i ever saw. you lucky bitch. you should be counting your stars
It's totally worth it. I drove nearly 600 miles to see them in Baton Rouge in May 07 and it was worth. Now I'm thinking about driving to West Virginia to see them.
why the fuck is everyone comparing Tool to Slipknot? they're totally different! Tool has a completely original sound, while Slipknot is good, don't get me wrong, but their music starts to blend together after a while. But besides that. They're two TOTALLY different bands, and should be classified as such.
This was an awesome concert, and the camping afterwards was fun too, there were these crazy fuckers playing techno and displaying trip out visuals on this screen at the campground, good times
PLEASE DONT READ THIS!in 1887 a inocent fifteen year old girl was abducted raped tortured and killed by a crazy man then he took her body into his bed and slept with it for five years before he was caught and sent to a mental assylum where he killed himself six months later'copy and paste this message to three videos on youtube or you will wake up with her stinking decaying corpes beside you.
Out of all of the concerts I have seen in my eighteen years, this was the best, and the Gorge was definetly fun. The road trip from Mount Vernon was the shit and I definetly hope that when Tool comes back to WA, that they hold thier concert at the Gorge, and that I can get better seats next time. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!
I'd like to know how everyone gets these cameras into the shows. I went to Metallica and had to pass through metal detectors. I'm going to TOOL on March 31 and want to get some pictures/videos.
I was there too. SO FUCKED UP! I remember laying on the ground on the hill staring at the stars drinking my beer and feeling the music rush through me. I'll miss that ex I took with me. HAHAHAHAHAHA
yea was prob quite close to you, same row, same section. Me and my mate came to the states from South Africa and were staying in seattle when we found out tool was playing here!! we drove 5 hours and walked 2 just to get there!V single most amazing night of my life ill tell u that!!
haha dustpandave, thats funny because im the person who hitchhiked with you. Remember the blonde kid from alaska with the other one, and we got picked up by those goths and they smoked us out. That was a kickass show, my other friend and I are going to try to hit 4 concerts up this april. Anyways have fun back in africa.
oh yeah of course i remember. if it werent for you we would of probably walked for 5 hours and died of heatstroke! yea that night was sick. did u guys hitchhike back? we had to hitch hike all the way to seattle but it was an adventure! i shud of got your number cause i was in alaska 2 weeks after the concert and u could of showed me some of that sick alaskan weed u were talking about. anyway.. PEACE OUT.. man
This was probably the height of the activity from the crowd during this song.. to hear everyone spouting "Fuck this and fuck that". I am still in amazement.I couldn't see Justin at all from where I was because of all the heads to look over. I didn't realize he was rocking out that much.
that was the best show ever! thanks for memories i wish you would have recorded schism or pot or vicarious tho. but im glad you got lataralus and aenema in there.
to be honest dude who cares it was a great show from where ever you were sitting.. i had lawn seats and it was amazing i would have killed for any floor seats.. not that anyone was sitting down anyways..

Definitely one of their best songs. Crude language, sure, but as he says himself, 'read between the lines'.
Anyway, I made a fan movie for this song. Feel free to check it out from my profile.
