all depends what software you use and that, overall I have had no issue with windows 7 and find it is faster more stable and reliable then any previous windows release, how ever I have had a few graphical glitches with 3D Blender(the 3D animation application I use) which I am hoping will be fixed with an update, but that's about it, in conclusion if your thinking about getting then get it, I have no regrets. BTW games run excellent on it.
