and u have been our colony since Ayutthaya period. Just about 150 years ago we lost this territory to the French.
If there is not the French, Cambodia will be only one region of Thailand nowadays.
The point is, I don't want you pity Khmer ppl to just crying for the past. How large and glorious of the Khom empire in the past is doesn't matter for us and the rest of the world. Please face the truth and accept it.

Without Khmer helping, Thailand never existed.
Thais were Tai people running from the Mongol that Thais had to use Khmer numerals, Khmer alphabets, Khmer vowels to start a nation.
Khmer always helped Thais even Ayuthaya was taken by the Burmese many times, Khmers still helped Thais.
Khmer numerals are written on all Thai currency today to prove Khmer are the master of Thais always.

Thai language is Khmer language, Thai numerals are Khmer numerals.
There is no proof of Thai connection with Indian. Khmer rule Thailand, not Indian.
Khmer numerals rule every Thai currency and Khmer letters rule Thai pagodas.
If Thais adapted Indian, why Indian cant read and understand, but Khmer can???

Khmer can read Thai, but lots of Thai can't read Khmer. If you say there were some connection between these 2 languages, why we can't read Khmer?
Despite of Khmer, we can read Laotian language and Lao can read Thai easily. The Lao are nicer than Khmer. We call ourself brothers. This is what I know.

All SEA countries lost war to the European during WWII included Thailand and Cambodia. But Thailand never wanted to live peace with Cambodia but to provoke war with Cambodia over Preah Vihear temple. Thais copied everything from Khmers and Thais changed the Khmer name into Thai name such as Khmer Preah Vihear that Thais changed to Thai Pra Viharn and try to tell Khmer it is Thai.

In WWII, Khmer asked the French to protect Khmer people from Thai Nazi.
Thai Nazi Phibun wanted to destroy Khmer and Thai Nazi allied with Japan to attack Khmer that the French had to attack Thai Nazi back. Khmer were the French colony, but there is no French anymore in Cambodia. Khmer dont have foreign cemetery to take care like Thai Nazi. But Thailand never respects its agreement. Thailand uses its tongue to talk peace but in the mean time Thailand uses its army to invade the Cambodia sovereignty.
