Ships are used to export items in and out of the sea and as they travel, they hit whales that are resting above the surface. They are struck and either die by the massive hit of the ship, or are cut by the propeller blades of the ship. Then the tides carry the dead whale up shore. It's a sad story, but its a fact.
this breaks my heart!!! Right now too many whales are dieing and I hope it is not due to something humans have done to pollute the ocean water!! We need to start saving these whales or there wont be any left for our children's kids!!

Hmm maybe just MAYBE this had to do with that little oil spill. Humpbacks to migrate through mexico where the oil is spreading. Poor thing.
