IMO, the HD version of FE and SE just ain't worth blowin' the extra bread on when one already has the originals and still enjoys playin' 'em. OTOH, for someone who never has purchased and played the original FE or SE, then sure the HD would be worth the purchase obviously.

With the risk of sounding like an old fanboy - I have to say I prefer the Classic look.

The HD-version (obviously) have much smoother and realistic graphics, but it lacks the colorfull and adventureous look of the Classic.

The very reason Serious Sam was so awesome when it first came out, was because it was so unserious. And the HD-version lacks this playfull feeling.

At least that's what I think =)

As a Serious Sam veteran I can only say the HD remakes are trash. Graphics is not everything. SS2 is even worse though.

@Sharkey3331 Well maybe better cheats but 360 is always the best for at least FPS and TPS games cuz a controller that you hold in your hands and that has thumbsticks, buttons and even triggers feels much more real and gives you a better experience than a mouse and a keyboard. The sensitivity is limited but my solution to that is to always set sensitivity to max so I can turn around in like a blink of an eye. It was weird at first but I got used to it. Xbox is also the best cuz PS3 controller sux

Correr, corre seguro pero es probable que con algo de lag. Fijate cómo va en 1024x768 y cerrando la mayor cantidad de aplicaciones posibles para liberar memoria ram.

De última podés bajar un poco los gráficos. Si recuerdo bien este juego tiene un montón de opciones gráficas para configurar. Es cuestión de buscar el equilibrio entre calidad y rendimiento ;)

You can use the "vivid" Color setting in the game options of the HD version to make it look REALLY colorful and vibrant! It looks great!

Buena placa! Pero a cuánto la viste? Yo la ví en 170 verdes, lo cual es muy bueno teniendo en cuenta que Nvidia es caro. Consejo: si está más de 170 mejor andá por una HD4850 que está menos de u$s160 y consume menos energía. Y cuidado con la fuente ;)

Si la placa esta como 170 dolares y me estoy comprando una fuente nueva junto con la palca que me recomendaron es una Fuente Sentey de 500w que viene con cables mayados y con conector directo de PCI-E de 6 pines.

Segun dicen esta no calienta mucho y consume poca energia ,( menos que la 9800 y la 8800) con respecto a la ati voy a ver que hago el tema es que el tipo me hace precio por esta y la fuente!

Noooooo... Sentey ni en pedo man!

Para la GTS250 yo le pondría como mínimo una Cooler Master de 550w, están alrededor de 100 dólares.

Si ves que se te va mucho el presupuesto preguntá si una Cooler Master 500w o una Vitsuba San 55 de 550w se la banca. Pero olvidate de esa Sentey, son kk.

Por eso es que te recomiendo la HD4850. Es igual (o mejor) a la GTS250 y consume menos.

Asesorate en foros, ahí los usuarios te dicen la posta y no te chamuyean como los vendedores ;)

si igual se me va mucho para esa xD estoy entre la gts 250 y la ati 4850 me parece q me tiro mas por la ati pero igual ahora tengo otro problema y es que no se si la puedo usar por la memoria ddr3 :S tenes idea si los zocalos son iguales? o si mi mother no tiene soporte ddr3 funcionara igual?

Vos te referís a la memoria DDR3 de la placa? Si es por eso no te hagas problema. La memo de la placa no tiene nada que ver. De hecho la 5750 tiene memoria GDDR5 y va sin problema.

Mientras tengas al menos un slot PCI-E 16x ya está :)
