i forgot i had that car as a kid, then also the bruce wayne figure... i also remember the bruce wayne figure where you could clip on his mask, and armour, and cape... i am not sure if it was this or the first 1989 batman toys? plus i remember having like an army of penguins with their guns... man i feel for kids these days, it really is not the same as a late 80s, early 90s kids toys!

I remember Catwoman being pretty hard to find for a while. It was a glorious day when my dad took me to Toys R Us and there she was, front and center on the toy rack. Awesome.

They really milked the Batman model for all he was worth. They re-colored and re-packaged him about a hundred times. New accessory, though? Gotta have it!

The thing I remember about the Batman Returns figures was that they didn't seem to care about being too accurate to the movie, because their Penguin looked like the one from the comics rather than the movie and because there was a Robin figure and Robin wasn't even in the movie (I actually had the Robin one because I liked Robin in the comics I was reading).

Wow, this commecial actually used the alternate opening sequence Bat-logo which appeared in the trailer but didn't appear anywhere in the actual movie.

That's pretty cool actually.

Although clearly Batman didn't have any Batmobiles that changed his costume in a second like that, or switched Bruce Wayne with Batman as the actual toy does, but that's still a cool idea for a Batmobile toy.

Its funny that you mention the Catwoman figure as elusive. That figure is probably the easiest to find on eBay along with Robin (unopened of course). The one figure that's the most difficult to find unopened is the basic black-suited Batman (Crime Attack Batman).
