@GabeIsHere925 I use the classic Lancer/Gnasher start as well and have a 1.4 K/D so almost the same. The sawed off isn't overpowered is my argument. It holsters one shot before a 7 second reload period, The gnasher has 6 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) and can be fired consecutively. For the sawed off to even be in a killing range you have to be at almost point blank range. If you have 6 deadly shots and getting someone that close to you need to rethink your strategies of how you play gears

It doesn't suit my playstile at all - though I'm now even sharper than ever when it comes to wallbouncing. I downed someone across the map; my point being none of the guns are overly balanced. Gnasher's power is so unreliable as it usually takes a clip up close for me to down someone (Orange broadband sucks) and sometimes, the sawed off fucks up to.
@GabeIsHere925 Also, the lancer seems to have an endless supply of ammo so I don't kniw when to reload, the retro kicks like a bitch but downs people in 6-8 shots without a perfect active reload and the hammerburst has too small a clip. And like Gears 2, the new updates have increased the bullshit and made it even more common. I hope Epic don't try to fix it, as they just make it worse every time.

Oh and I have never ever seen anybody ever camp by the boomshot spawn or a one-way reach spot.
@PKMN123451 its because they are gay. sawedoff is a oneshot splat if they get just close enough, retro is 1/5th of the clip and ur down, compared to lancer it takes ages to get them down, on the average map, by the time theyre close to down, they will have found cover .. and the sawedoff camping happens alot, especially on TDM and KOTH .
but oh well. i usually dont get pissed about it, but when its 2-4 sawedoffs in 1 match, well thats the end of gears for that day..

Good players get to know their guns before getting into a battle. So before you go and talk shit abut one of the best players out there learn your shit first. @PKMN123451 because... people who use sawedoffs and/or retro's always camp behind 1 spot where its a 1 way reach... like on clocktower, the boomshot spawn.. even if u still keep a fair bit of distance, they will come out and rush at you, OR shoot u down within 2 seconds with that gay retro..
atleast with the gnasher u have to aim right, and u get to walk around without having to do the same shit over and over..
also, shoot once /w sawedoff, miss, and ur fucked.

@lawlestest You would call the the Retro Lancer gay. Keep your distance and shoot them down with a Hammerburst or Lancer OR stick with your team mates and take them down together. The reason people use those guns is to piss you off or that's the only way they get kills. Why don't you use the Retro or Sawed off and piss people off instead of being the person getting pissed off. Oh and I have never ever seen anybody ever camp by the boomshot spawn or a one-way reach spot.

@PKMN123451 its because they are gay. sawedoff is a oneshot splat if they get just close enough, retro is 1/5th of the clip and ur down, compared to lancer it takes ages to get them down, on the average map, by the time theyre close to down, they will have found cover .. and the sawedoff camping happens alot, especially on TDM and KOTH .
but oh well. i usually dont get pissed about it, but when its 2-4 sawedoffs in 1 match, well thats the end of gears for that day..

@lawlestest it was much, much worse when the game first came out. They lowered the gib range in an update though, so now its actually moderately fair. Plus, if you keep getting killed by a guy with a sawed-off, there is no shame in rifle downing him every time he's dumb enough to push you.

Yes I use the Retro.I probably would get killed multiple times but it doesn't annoy me because it is PART OF THE GAME and if Epic thinks that it shouldn't be taken out then I will respect that, get on with my life and not bitch about it.The only actual reason I get annoyed is if my team dies a lot. ;)
