Actually Aggie football is a pretty great program. Or nobody would even know, or for that matter care about them.

Our team has possibly the most true freshman in Division 1 ball. Meaning that over the next few years we can have players with more experience than most other teams.

If you'll notice a lot of our bad plays were due to our secondary, which is young. They'll get better with the experience they're getting.

And for the record, our last bowl win was in 2001.

You guys get more money and all that fun stuff because you were founded in Austin to be the main state college. We were founded as a military school, and stayed as such for most of our first 100 years.

heres how it works. Texas University gets 2/3 of the funds from the state and Texas A&M gets 1/3. So Texas should be better because they have better facilities from money which attracts better recruits. Texas Tech and Baylor dont get shit of that fund. They may receive some money from the state but it is nowhere near what Texas or A&M receive. The fact that Tech is better than A&M is what is wrong. A&M lands better recruits each year but is pitiful because they don't run the spread. pass>run

I dont know if the #'s stand 2day but thats how it was 4 a long time and thats what it said in a research book about the Texas-Texas A&M rivalry. The reason Texas gets more funds is because they are in the capital and the people that manage the money 4 the state agreed that the majority of the $ should go 2 Austin and not College Station. Like I said A&M should win more games against U.T. than they do, but the sad thing is that they lose to tech that doesn't receive any of the major state funds.

That's only one of several methods of state funding. Texas doesn't get a 2:1 ratio of the overall funding, just of the PUF.
