Hi,thanks for going slow and introducing the 2 types of G cord. You are simply awesome. Thanks for slowing down and making sure we get the fingers on the right string.
Please post more using the same format or start a teaching wesite . i will be yr number 1 customer
Your guitar lesson was actually very excellent. I wish you had a better video camera though... ha ha. I like the way you did it in 3 positions. Would you consider the a - f major scales as well? Thanks man...Von
It would be better if you showed the first position, then the second position, and THEN showed how to link them. Not just show position 1 and then link it to a second position we dont even know :) Nice lesson tho
Sorry! I'm a beginner :( I've been wondering throughout You tube and to my disapoiment I've found as many scales as songs ; Does it means that if I compose a song it has allready a new sacale? The million dollar question! if I compose a song , Does it have to be on a certain scale? or it has to stick to certain scale OR It has born! with certain scale? HHEELLPP!!!
No you don't have to stick with a certain scale when composing. You can step outside the key. There are no rules to songwriting. Just play what sounds best to your ear.
@josejuan61 in general, when composing, your song will already be in a specific key. so it is "born" into that scale. if you step outside your scale, you are running in what is called a diatonic scale. you may go from chromatic scales (major, natural minor, melodic minor, harmonic minor) to diatonic scales (using every step and half step) and back again seamlessly....if done right. try not to become overwhelmed by these words, take it one step at a time.

@josejuan61 get down your major and minor scales, which encompass your key, and then you may work into modes and diatonics
