  • One critical thing this is leaving out that took me a bit to discover, your pictures MUST be the EXACT same size for this to work! Otherwise, you get some really weird results.

  • like eminem 0:14

  • Great tutorial. Thanks.

I am having a problem when I save the animation in GIF. When I see the animation in explorer in Gif ,the picture has wave type distortion. If you can help me it would be great.

    Thanks.

  • @Suchbol That's most likely cause of the control points you gave it, cause it morphs with that wave like effect. For all my morphing needs I actually just use Sqirlz Morph, and sometimes WinMorph with Wax 2.0 (All 3 are windows applications)

  • @mikethedj4 Thanks Mike. I did as you said. I downloaded Swirlz Morph and it worked like a charm. I am indeed very grateful to you.

    God Bless you.

  • @Suchbol Thanks, and no problem :)

  • Nice and Thanks! But I have a question, Do you have to save it as a GIF?

  • @GimpBegginner if you want it to animate yes, and if you save each frame as an image you can import it into an image editor save the video like that and then import the new video and increase the speed and it'll be a video, but not worth all the time. I'm unsure if you can export an animation in gap, there's a plugin on gimptalk somewhere where you can export as swf, but idk where it is.

  • @mikethedj4 Thanks but I have another problem... The duplicating layer thing at the end is SO annoying and slow...

  • @GimpBegginner Yeah it's annoying, but id the animation is slow, cause cause you have to many layers. I've had 2,000 layers before, and that was why the animation was so slow, so be aware of that.

  • how do I exe in to VIDEO?

  • @macedonianwolf You can't convert an exe to a video file.

  • @mikethedj4 I realized that in the past week :) But thanks....

  • @macedonianwolf sorry so many comments it's hard to keep up, idk how gigafide, and the others do it

  • great video man...

    thanks!

  • Oh, that's cool effect! ok, tx's for the interesting information, i start with Gimp and definitely I'll do some animation in gap, i don't know what, but this video maybe help to the imagination flow.

  • Thanks, and You're Very Welcome. Also I assure you it'll help you learn gap a little better, and for me anyway it brings your imagination to a wider variety, to make other things, which is always great.

  • Thank you. This might come in handy for later video projects.

  • No problem
