This is my favourite hill to skate, EVER. so epic at the top. Flying through the town at the bottom is crazy at the speed you keep through it.

the video says everything, the wheels are predictable but also grip. If you look at the race courses where flywheels dominate, it's mostly technical courses....

@ :52-53 see him hit that dip in the road and he is'nt the least concerned...great balance and he footbrakes at 40-60 mph. It's unreal how good these guys are and you don't really know until you try it. Respect.

@belliveau5 : thanks! it's maybe 60km/h on the straight before the first left hand corner and around 70km/h down the last straight. Now what you don't know is that the road continues for another 20 hairpins and a fast straight where Mischo Erban and I have gone above 95km/h....

Martin, do you do much predrifting? I can't imagine how many shoes you must go through.

I pretty much started drifting when we filmed for drop - my life downhill. I think it's fun for freeriding. On many roads however I still need good grip on corners or chicanes and therefore don't want to do big drifts. Some roads require the use of wheels such as centrax, where drifting would simply throw you off. Looking back at the worlds in Australia, footbraking does make sence! Definitely!

This run here was early in the morning during the week so there's almost no trafic. And then you can see all cars from far, at least at the top section, which is also what we raced on.... Martin
