If you try to use the Patriot, it flips over. If you drive slowly, you get hit too much and die. If you stay in the car, the Yakuza all get killed. If you get out to help them, you end up dead.

This is what ruined GTA3 for me. Ridiculous missions that the game could do without. This is almost as bad as Gurismo.

@zztopiz, idk about gta4, but gta 3 is in the same timeline.  2001. how can it not be. Did you pay attention to san andreas and liberty city storeis at all. They are the two most connecting to gta 3. Fido, or the main charatcer was ceaser cousin in san andreas, and in "Farewell my love..." catalina is fidos gf. it all makes sense that gta 3 takes place after liberty city stories.

This mission is such bullshit. I've failed it at least half a dozen times just because of the stupid AI of these "death squads". You have to literally treat them like babies and not get too far ahead. And even then, there's no guarantee that they'll follow you properly.

"Duh, he just went into that lot, so let's just drive our car into the wall 20 feet away from him until he fails the mission."

after finishing mission "A Drop In The Ocean " for donald love, shoresie vale is unlocked. go to the bridge and wait for the middle part of it to go down(the part is raised above). it ascends and descends every once in a while
