  • nice interior, problem is that there are too many button to control the temperature. looks complicated for first impression but other then that nice

  • how was the backseat legroom?

  • great vid. it made me make the jump :) went from a 2003 sonata to 2011 . getting mine next week. all black tint window and 18 inch Black mag :) can t wait

  • I mean 2011...lol!

  • I bought one today. Nice car. Mine is a 2010 and not the SE or limited. I have blue tooth, xm, manual and pretty much as the video shows. Mine is Pacific Blue Pearl with a dark blue interior. New color for this car. The heated seats I don't have but live in the warmer climate so don't really need those...hahaha...love this car though and Hyundai really did a great job with this car. One of the better cars to get if you want reliability with a bit of luxury and rides very smooth.

  • @bugatishakedown Awesome :) Hope you're enjoying it, bro

  • @pcgeek86 Thanks! First week and love this car. Ride is very smooth. How's your car doing? I hear over 140,000 had steering issues in the 2010 model. Mine is fine so far but alert in case there is a problem. The road side assistance, 100, 000 mile warrantey and 5 year electrical warranty is amazing. Free car washes for a life time and free oil changes for 3 years or 36,000 miles. This alone is worth getting the car. Gorgeous car though

  • @bugatishakedown My car is doing great! I've had a few warranty items taken care of on it.

    1) The chrome trim piece on the trunk was bowed out a little bit. They (dealership) reattached it with no issues.

    2) The far right passenger air vent wouldn't let you open or close it. The dealer ordered a part and replaced it. It can now be opened and closed.

    3) Steering recall taken care of. No symptoms noticed by me.

    4) Ignition recall. No idea, but it's all done.

  • @pcgeek86 Sorry to hear that, and you have the more expensive car too...lol! I tell you though, this car is very cool looking and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The Koreans really know how to make an automobile! I haven't gone over 70mph yet and don't park near anyone else..hahaha. I am taking a trip up to San Francisco in a few months (around 400 miles from me) and looking forward to the drive in my new Sonata! Nicest car I have ever owned to date. Thanks for sharing dude. Drive safe!

  • How is this car in the snow ? Thinking of getting one here, live in New England

  • @narmstrong79 I have no idea -- I just got it in February and only drove it in the snow for one day. I am looking forward to seeing how it performs in the snow this coming Winter. I will say that the traction control seems a little over-zealous even in dry weather, so ...

  • Nice interior all in all, but what the hell were they thinking when they designed the steering wheel . Why is the part where you're actually holding the wheel (9-15) made out of plastic, and the rest is leather?

  • @derbigpr500 That's a great question -- it doesn't really bother me, but it does make you wonder why they did that! Haha

  • @derbigpr500 styling cue?

  • I GOT MY SONATA SE ON SUDAY IN INDEGO BLUE. THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO, U REALLY HELPED ME MAKE MY DECISION!!!!!

  • @yankeeboydc Awesome! Glad you picked one up! Hope you're enjoying it as much as I enjoy mine! Cheers

  • Will definitely consider this car as I just recently moved to Chicago

  • BUYING A SONATA SOON AND YOUR VIDIES HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL, THANKS!!!

  • can you control the ipod from the radio controls? Or do you have to use your ipod still? in my honda I can control the Ipod from the radio / steering wheel controls - is yours the same?

  • @dieselplow You can control it from the radio. The iPod interface is disabled while the iPod is plugged into it. I prefer unplugging the iPod to change what's playing though, because the car's interface isn't terribly friendly when you have lots of music.

  • This review is very very helpful....not many car reviews from dealerships actually take the time to describe every single detail. This video was well made and it has me interested in the sonata. I had trouble deciding whether to buy one or not but now after seeing this video. I am definitely consider buying one for sure. Thanks so much for your review!

  • @xXFOOLISHWAYSXx Thanks for the kind comments; That means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy your new Sonata, when you get it!

  • I like this car SO much. I test drove a Limited model a few weeks back, and was very impressed with the amount of car for the money.

  • how much was ure car?

  • is push buttun start standard

  • @theenigmajeffhardy1 Yes, push-button start is a standard option on the 2011 Sonata.

  • @pcgeek86 I mean is it standard on like a glsnor se

  • @theenigmajeffhardy1 I'm pretty sure it's standard on all models; I could be wrong though.

  • i like the limited..but i heard the new 2.0T models are coming out later this year with dual exhausts and 18" rims for the limited models...but dang...this car has MAD features for the money....why couldn't they put HD radio in the Gen coupes...or two level heated seats....or dual climate control

  • good review! So how is it holding up? Dont these have the best warranties of any car?

  • @Nicho2177 It's holding up pretty well. It still runs / feels like new after owning it for a few months! :)

  • @pcgeek86 Yea we own one of the 2011 SE models now love it

  • @Nicho2177 Awesome! Glad to hear you got one, and are enjoying it!

  • 4:41 orbit gum!!!

  • @Spaznet24 Haha yes :) Orbit gum!

  • The plastics look nasty in this thing, especially the doors, centre arm rest (where the rear air vents are), and also the power window switches.

  • Heated rear seats! Being in Canada this would be a HUGE plus! Finally an affordable car with all the features... sadly though the top of the line (31,000) in Canada doesn't offer a 6-Speed Manual... Oh well minor detail. Thanks for a great vid!

  • The Dimension audio system is actually quite impressive, and is one reason that I elected to upgrade from my previous generation Sonata (which sounded nowhere near as good). The overall sound, bass included, is incredible, except for the iPod static issue I'm having.

  • nice video. I thought the mpg per hyundai was 27/city -35/hwy. Did yours just showed ~22.~ avg mpg?

  • It's 22 / 35 I believe. And, my driving style is not a proper gauge of average MPG for most people :)

  • nice video... by the way, how much did you get the Limited edition for?

  • MSRP is around $26,200, but I negotiated for the Limited Edition for $24,500. You can probably do better than that, but I'm happy with the price. I had a 2006 Sonata trade-in also, so I made them give me [roughly] bluebook price on that.

  • Question: What does the "head" button on the A/C figure do?

  • that ones just for show, no real use for it

  • Just top- notch!...Picture quality is beautiful and the walk-through is about as complete as anyone could hope for. Thanks

  • You're quite welcome :) I'm glad this was helpful!

  • @duhzzzz Thanks so much!! I appreciate the positive feedback and your time for watching it!! :)

  • Thanks for going into so much detail. Your video has given me the final boost to go check out the Sonata at the dealership later today.
