So far I have all of them except the Apache. I love these little things. Just got another 107. It's the newer version. Remote has only A and B channel not A B C. They only operate on two channels anyways. All the newer ones are this way. Love em.

Please help me ! I have a yellow Syma S107 Heli, and it has power problems. Within say 3 to 5 minutes it completely fails to operate and I have to charge it again and again, Is this supposed to be happening or is this faulty machinery ?

This might be normal. Most rc helis have a max flight time of about 5 mins.

The batteries might run out quicker if you have fans/air vents on in your house, or if you fly it outside. Airflow makes it harder for the engine to stay stable.

Otherwise, check on it when its charging. make sure its not overheating.

If the probs continue, remember you can always return it.

I have bad luck with cheap micro heli's (two air hogs they worked for a bit but didnt last long. Two Micro Mosquitos one cant even get lift off and the other lifts off hits the cieling uncontrollably and drops to a hover about 1/16" off the ground) Are these decent little helis? I just want something to play around with in the house but dont want to spend more money on junk

@harunoko1 turn onthe controller turn on the chopper then adjust the trim it might work if it dosnt then something wrong with the transmitter that connects with the remote so u should get a new one if it dosnt work.

basically what LickleSparky said. I'm not too smart on physics/engineering, but it also could be a weight difference between the two sides. adding some weight to the other side might do the trick.

Also, make sure your launching off a flat surface with no airflow (no fans/air vents on)

If neither of these ideas work, be sure to return the copter and buy a new one.

@ACDCcoverkid Somebody has probably already said this but it sounds like you've crashed it and maybe stripped a gear out. I've done that before. Look really closely at the gears and see if any teeth are stripped out. I've done it before and it's not too terrible to fix. You can find pretty much any part you need on ebay for pretty cheap. a new gear set is sub $5.

In the 80's a chopper that could do this was easily 1500 bucks. This thing is absolutely fantastic. Thanks for posting!

i just wanna say, i love this fucn helicopter. I bought this one because my brother had the COSCO intercepter i think it was called and his didn't fly backwards. I can't wait to knock him out of the sky with my s107.

It's ez to fuc these things up if you go modding them.  Just buy them with warrantys, cuz some arrive DOA, and it's just a good idea to buy from USA company not HK where return shipping cost is better you keep for spare parts.

I bought one of these a fw days ago and it doesn't hold a charge for very long. When I timed it, I got about a 1 minute worth of great flying (helicopter can fly up to the ceiling very fast) But after that minute it will only go about 6 inches off the ground. Have you had any issues with this?

Just got one. flew about 4 minutes out of box. Tried charging from USB. Light came on at USB plug, turned off copter and plugged to copter. Light never went off. Left it plugged in for 1 hr. It turned the rotor for about 10 sec and was dead. Repeated with same result. Tried charging with controller but the light never chanded from green to red inicating charging. Any ideas?

i see that this model is sold under at least 10 different brand names, and some have different transmitters and some an extra button for the led lights, technaly they look the same. Now i bought one 2 days ago, but it seems to have a wil of its own, because it flies everywere, except were i want it to fly, so could it be that i got one with a bad gyro or something like that? i see video's were they fly real sturdy, so left is left and right is right, but not for the one i bought.

@lesliefrancs I honestly do not know the lifting power of the S107. I do know that it is greatly affected by moving air. If you blow air at it while it is in flight, it will either go way off course or just plummet to the ground. I would experiment first before doing this, or go with a bigger RC heli for this job lol.

@Sh00t3r357 The ABC switch changes the infrared frequency of the transmitter so you can fly multiple helis. I have noticed, however, that it says ABC but it only has 2 positions?

Quick tip:

The flight lever is accuatly a speed controller. Bump it into th celing and you got yourself a stone-like crash/fall. Led on front is really cool too!
