when you remove it from the clip, you push in the center of the case (below the logo) and pull it out, not on the side! you aren't supposed to push the phone into the case, slide it in! thats why your silicon is messed up! Did you even watch the otterbox defender video? You have no idea what you are talking about.
Press 3 fingers on back of the phone plus put your thumb ontop of the belt clip then squeeze and pull straight up! until you feel click" then you can pull the phone in a outward direction. When placeing it back into the holster put the phone face in! and bottom first again thumb on the belt clip with the phone seated bottom first, press the phone to the holster untill it clicks. thats how you do it .Great Holster ! The best for rough environments
does this case add alot of bulk im mean can you still put it in your pocket and it not be uncomforterble?? if so what is a good case to get i am very careful with my phone
Check out Middleeye's video on putting the phone in the case.
From his explanation, you are simply not putting the phone in properly, which is causing the silicon problem, and you are not taking the phone out properly either.
To remove the phone from the holster. Press the center bottom with your finger and slide directly up and out of the holster. DO NOT try to remove it by bending it out. I had the same problem for a while and saw a video instructing me properly, and now I just feel dumb. Try it out!
hmm.. Looks like he is pulling the phone incorrectly. Check out the defender video on the otterbox website. You are suppose to press the center and pull up not out.
With the unclipping from the holster, I saw a video and the guy said to push down (as in push towards your hip) and then pull. Let me know how it goes!
hey i just put up a quick tip on how to remove the phone from the clip. check it out at my channel seems youtube won't let me post a link. hope this helps some of you.
I cant remove my iPhone from the belt clip even with two hands and the belt clip is right in front of me....Please advice how to unholster with just one hand while the phone is in the case right on yout belt...
DUDE! I just got mine today and it started doing that bunching up the rubber thing when I put it in the holder....HERE IS THE SOLUTION...we're putting it in wrong! put it in flat just above the bottom clips then slide it DOWN!!! over the clips and it locks in!
yup that's correct. i ordered one after trying one out for a day. i know it looks overkill but hey its more for function than "looks" per se. i really like the engineering of this case. I'll post some thoughts when I get mine...
good review and i like how you have it on your belt so we can see how it works and looks. i love the design and look but to me its not very practical for normal everyday use. Like you said its hard to unholster. And damn it even looks like a gun holster!
"it come out more difficult than it goes innn" LMFAO THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!!

I really don't trust belt clips anyway, lost a cell phone once because they ride up when you get in & out of your car!!
majorghn 2 years ago
If you have a Bluetooth Headset you don't need to take it out constantly!! Also, put it in your pocket...don't use the belt clip!!

the reason you have difficulty removing it is because you must slide it out
drivebyee 2 years ago 2
Fail. You slide it in and out from the top.

Does teh screen have a stickyness to it? Ot does it just press on it?
I want this case, but I'm worried about the screen, I dont want anything like those sticker-screen protectors.
So can I just remove it if I got a watermark, or does it stick?

If you want to keep it in the front always showing put a rubber band under the clip and pull it over the phone. Secure and easy to take off
