To all, we were intrigued with the prospect of generating power from wind on a small unit. That is why we invested our own resources to do the testing of this unit and aside from posting videos on Youtube, have not made claim to any benefits using this product to the general public. So far the results have been less than expected so we are continuing to work with Honeywell to see if there is any promise for this type of personal wind turbine. We will share these results at the end of our tests
I'm wondering why we're not seeing what production is being made here? I'm a huge fan of wind and solar but I wish someone would show us the real power curves on this $5000 turbine so I can compare to what my $500 turbine produces. Has Honeywell figured away of changing the laws of physics here?
Do the math. There's no power in 1mph windspeeds and useful power doesn't show up until ~10mph windspeeds. Honeywell is doing a fabulous job of marketing this less than average turbine. Their claims of power @2mph...hogwash
looking good,I would top the tree in back to cut turbulence and improve performance.when asked "when is the pay back" I tell them every time the grid goes down, and while your energy cost rise mine goes down.
any add on in generation is another step for reliable power, one step at a time, good luck. pay little attention to nay sayers.
That's one of the worst wind turbine design.

Why won't all of you Windtronic people show us power data? Hmmm

WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE
Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com
ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they are sealed underground.
SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since slow-moving.
DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.
MAY BE LOWER-COST since it may use timber and other cheaper things.
ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the blades automatically close.
NO FIRE since well-cooled.
HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

FYI please block Billthekid and Dark Dragon (same person) he is bashing RE video's and we would like it stopped. Please check out his channel to see.

@ragnarnorsman it might generate a little power at 2 mph but not much.

I wouldn´t like to sleep underneed that freaking bicycle. Small wind turbines must be installed in proper towers.

Hi,
Can you tell us the wattages produced @ the different wind speeds?
Thanks good luck with it.

"wattage @ the different wind speeds?"
I have only a partial answer, hope that helps:
At windspeed zero there is null wattage.

to bad it costs about 6K not for everyone

Not exactly useful

what is the average daily power output of the turbine so far?

Seems like snow and ice will build up on this thing in no time flat and become a major headache.
