  • I'm 2000 years old and I'm posting this from the future. This song still rocks.

  • I recommend Choi Woo Joon - Jang nan III

  • The riff in this song sounds very like The Rolling Stones - Start Me Up

  • I'm 5 years old and I've been listening to this for ten years.

  • @hbdywtk I normally don't comment but, your comment was hilarious.

  • This tune has always reminded me of The Sons of Anarchy.

  • pinche rolota de the cult

NO MAMES ME PONE LOCO EL FINAL, ME SIENTO UN MARTY Mc FLY

  • 8 people had their love removed

  • My favorite song by these guys!

  • I still kinda prefer She Sells Sanctuary but oh well

  • Mais de 1000 kilowatts!!!!!

  • I saw The Cult on April Fools Day in 1990, at the Universal Amphitheatre, and they KICKED SERIOUS ASS!!!! The Cult Rocks!!!!

  • When this tune first came out, I painted the title of this tune on the sides of my Panhead's Sportster gas tank. That bike cost me a coupla girlfriends, hence, the song's title --Love Removal Machine. This one's up there with Move Over by Steppenwolf, Blood and Roses by The Smithereens, Don't Worry Baby by Los Lobos, You Make Me Real by The Doors, and The Real Me by The Who.

  • WORKS just like a smoke, a cup of expresso, or a line of blow. This song is sure to pick you up!

  • I'm still in the womb but I know what music I'll be listening to during my lifetime. ROCK N ROLL!!!

  • @MUFC127 That deserves a thumbs up.

  • and a kick ass upload, too! :)

thanks for the quality upload, really!

    Cheers*

  • This is one of my favorite Rock & Roll songs of all time! ... A real screamer-- to be placed in the "Top Drawer" along with all the other classics.

  • 3:26 is my favorite part. the build up is what i call it. then the climax.

  • this song reminds me of the old Wurlitzer juke boxes.gr-r-r-r-8 tune, none the less

  • genre specific bickering is for wankers... like all the electronic music nerds, "thats not house, it's hard house". or "thats not drum and bass it's jungle 2 step tech step" yadda yadda yadda... shut up and enjoy a great band...

  • god i miss bands like this... 100% pure rock and roll... nothing better...

  • @POLYMORPHLEGION

The Cult wasnt pure rock and roll, actually they weren't rock and roll at all. the Cult started out Post-Punk and then went towards hard rock in the late 80s

  • @MrGospelMan a little nitpicky there huh? this track would most definitely be rock and roll... as would most of the stuff on electric... i'm well aware of their roots...

  • Sounds like AC/DC

  • @Vertigopills yeah this album and after this sound more hard rock. the earlier ones used alot with delay pedal, i love both styles

  • @Vertigopills that was the idea. the cult liked rock and roll

  • @Vertigopills WTF???

  • I really liked that bit between 0:00 and 4:20. Real rock music

  • that whole guitar break is like the awesomest part 3:26 aside FRM the whole song of course

  • song bout the local prosti and a virgin

  • hell yeah!!! on 05/06/11 in Athens!! \m/

  • Saw them in 87' at Selinas, Coogee Beach, Sydney. They fucking rocked the house!

  • love the cult

  • dude.... FU** that still rocks!!!

  • great music to loose your virginity to ha ha ha

  • @lolley1000 title says it all

  • @lolley1000 ohhhhh reallllyyyyyy

  • @lolley1000 don't forget jerking off as well

  • @lolley1000 Over and over again!

  • @lolley1000 Haha, I made a comment on another video like this saying "I wanna get laid to this!" haha, right on dude!

  • @lolley1000 If you're loose, you've already lost your virginity.

  • awe yeah... gotta do this one in the band... ♫♪ mc

  • Baby, baby, baby ♫

    Like Homer Simpson

  • When the bass line came in I jizzed myself.

  • isnt this the same guitar riff as one of the rolling stones songs?

  • "Rolling Stones : Start Me Up" or what? .-)

  • Intro reminds me of AC/DC.

  • @ElderLyons1 The best DC album that never was. .... Or was it? Who the fuck cares!

  • @ElderLyons1 You must be kidding! "Rolling Stones : Start Me Up" bigtime rip-off .-)

  • Playing this at full volume in uni halls whilst passing a massive joint around = great time.

  • @VanDoodah If that's the kind of shit you're doing, my advice is enjoy it while you can. Times like that don't last. I'm not saying life gets 'worse' but it'll never get much better. Enjoy, peace and rock and roll.

  • check out this live version, even more energetic..Search for the cult live 1987 bbc session

  • rock

  • this is the best song off guitar hero world tour. i have listened to this 10 times in a row and definetly going to listen to it some more.

i have one question, WHY DO THEY NOT MAKE GOOD MUSIC LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!!

  • @shadonic18 They do make good music still. You just have to sift through more garbage before you find the gems. Trust me when I say this as well - if all your friends have it cued up on their ipods then it's probably crap. I don't care how many grammys a band wins or how many records they sell. True musical talent isn't measured by that and never has been. Anybody can put KoolAid in a pretty package and call it juice.

  • The Cult is one of my memorable bands from when I was in High School.........EVERYBODY was rockin out to them............they kicked ass then out came Guns n Roses........................1987-88!!!!!!!

  • four people like lady gaga

  • Oh yes...great memories. Thanks for posting.

  • Electric times god memories...

  • this is the way to wake up when the alarm goes off. wicked tune man.

  • amazing at sonisphere! roll on january tour!

  • is it just me... or does this and she sells sanctuary sound exactly the same?

  • @CodeOuch No not at all. She sells sanctuary lacks the ridiculously mind melting solo that this song contains TWO OF.

  • @onett128 They use a very similar chord progression

  • LOVE REMOVAL MACHINE!!

  • Es Hard Rock Alternativo

  • @marcela566 Alternativo??? Que?? Alternativo esta Grunge, nada The Cult. (Pardon my bad Spanish)

  • @marcela566 Or, wrather, pardon my very bad Portuguese!! (Sorry, the two languages are so similar! Hahahaha!!)

  • Such a sexy guitar riff!

  • hell yeah

  • This band deserves more credit.

  • i love this song ..a would be friend broke up his best friends family by screwing his wife and i cought our would be friend at the cult concert in oakland california in the 90s and i kicked the crap out of him .every time i hear this song i remember kicking jerret dixons ass .to this day i will repeat if i see him lol

  • saw them wed in hartford. they fuckin brought it. kick ass show

  • Oh yeah. Saw them in Atlanta in 1991 and again tomorrow night in Florida. Can't wait. They rock solid as it gets

  • Its a bit hard to define the music of the cult, this song its really rock concentrated in its maximum expression, But what about She sells sanctuary? That song is close to new wave bands..Whatever, this band deserves more success ..too much under rated..But well, its a treasure for us, the people who enjoys the best!

  • Thank god that auto-tune & that evil protools came along after this great music was made. This rxr came from the gut,and it fuckin burns.

  • and these teenies think fuckin miley cirus is rock...

  • @Drummingraccoon96 i know... its embarrassing to be a teen these days, because none of my peers know what real music, or real cars are. so naturally, i get categorized as one of them by most adults... wish i could grow up in the 80s

  • her dad is famous for "ACHY-BREAKY HEART"I agree with you.she's NOT roc and roll.R U hip 2 Lita Ford?not only is she hot,but this WOMAN really ROCKS.she could teach ALL these TENNIE BOPPERS how it's done

  • @Drummingraccoon96 I agree miley cirus isn't rock, but fucking miley cirus must be nice... mmmmm...yeah

  • @Drummingraccoon96 thats called gaypop

  • @Drummingraccoon96 hahahaa no shit wheres the kick ass rock bands these days!!! Fuck?!?!!?!?

  • @Drummingraccoon96 What kind of brainless fuck could even remotely call that shit rock, or even music for that matter? Artists such as Alice Cooper, The Cult, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Kiss, Def Leppard, Winger, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, etc. That's rock, not some teenager screaming random words into a microphone. I may need to kill someone if it's true that people actually think that.

  • @Drummingraccoon96 who said that? who the fuck said that?!

  • @Drummingraccoon96 nah man,

i'm 17 and i think this music awesome.

just like i like AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Police, Led Zeppelin and jimmy Hendrix

  • @TheJorisDouma

the police suck in a fuckin' way!

  • @TheJorisDouma okay man i agree with you but its not like ur one in a million okay a lot of people and i mean a lot of people like the same music......

  • @TheJorisDouma aerosmith and the police sux. try deep purple. ac/dc really were a great band till 1980, when bon scott died.

  • @aintnoloser1 the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @TheJorisDouma

I'm 3 yrs old and I posted this with a typewriter.

  • @TheJorisDouma jimi. it's jimi hendrix...

  • @Drummingraccoon96 dude im 13 and i listen to aerosmith, whitesnake, deep purple, motorhead, and some old 60s and 70s people u probably never even heard of

  • @RockNfuckinRoller97 yeah because im totally clueless to the bands you named

  • @aceintheholeism oh yea well hav u everheard of blue cheer, saxon, ufo, morning dew?

  • @RockNfuckinRoller97 I like your taste! I especially love blue cheer, and ufo are awesome! Don't get all annoying and proud about the fact you like some bands that aren't in the charts though. It doesn't make you grown up. Stop being such a whiney indy kid and listen to music because you like it, not because less people know about it. :P

  • @mistersusan1471 just sayin u cant say all kids my age dont know good music, btw thats cool u like blue cheer nobody i know has ever even heard of them

  • @RockNfuckinRoller97 EXACTLY!

  • @tabseb3 ?what do you mean?

  • @tabseb3 excuse me, Indy "person" trying to be cool but sounding hella childish instead

  • @Drummingraccoon96 hopefully they CHECKED this out, yous wont be dissappointed.

  • @Drummingraccoon96 This is fucking sick, and so is Motley Crue, Gn'R, ACDC, all the great old bands. But at the same time I like dubstep, good rap, and even JUSTIN BIEBER!! Haha but at the same time I know real rock, I just like to listen to whatever sounds good

  • It's so AC/DC it just rips

  • never realized how crappy the guitar player was ..that lead is pretty sloppy....but that doesn't stop this from being one kick ass tune !!

  • @reanimate280 Rock'n'roll guitar is about spirit not precision

  • Saw them last night! Rocked!

  • sexy rock music makes me hungrier 4 pussy

  • @blueberryman who the fuck are you kidding, you've never been laid, I lost my v card to your mom.

  • @30301500 It's usually the guys with 'mom jokes' who never got laid and can't get over the fact that others did..

  • @Itsooz its actually the guys who dont get laid who go around saying "I bet you have never been laid" when in reality they are trying to compare themselves to see if someone else is actually more of a man then a pathetic fuckface like yourself

  • shock this one!!!!!!!

  • fuck yeah cult fuck yeah big time

  • u blew my mind.............

  • Incredible tune by this amazing Rock band!!

  • love The Cult

  • pure energy pure music solo pleasure............

  • In my opinion, all music, at its core, is 'worth' as much as any other. People just derive different pleasures from them, be it about the music technically, the atmosphere or attitude, or the sheer beat and motion. But I also think rock and metal, alongside classical music, has the highest averages overall, especially in terms of musicality.

This song is a great example of that; driving force, badass attitude, great lyrics, and fucking great musicianship. Class A, motherfuckers!

  • @RoivasUGO

Classical and Jazz musicians are far better than metal musicians. Metal musicians get far too much credit for their shredding, which is basically a gimmick that can easily be learned and has little to do with actual musicality. I'm not saying that all metal musicians are bad, but the musicality in metal definitely is far overrated.

  • @Slay318 I wasn't talking solely about shredding, but you're right in pointing out I forgot jazz. My apologies.

My point was mostly aimed at composition, structuring of songs and albums (especially in progressive-oriented rock and metal) and overall musicianship, not just the guitars. In modern music, the most breathtaking songwriting for me is more often in metal or rock than in other genres of music (although I listen to jazz sparsely).

  • @RoivasUGO I don't think composition or song-structure in metal in general is that impressive. I can understand when you're talking about bands like Mastodon or Between the Buried and Me, but definitely not metal as an entire genre. I agree that I'd rather listen to rock or pop music, and a Sufjan Stevens or Patrick Watson composition will always do more for me than jazz or classical, but when it comes to individual musicality jazz is definitely the 'better' genre.

  • Best ever XD XD XD

  • AC/DC should play a version of this tune!

  • @LesGomez AC/DC is the most over-rated band in the history of the rock 'n' roll. Listen to some Maiden or Priest for god's sake!

  • @ByrneBoy95 (01100110 01110101 01100011 01101011) you, you queer bag. AC/DC is the most classicalerist more amazing than anything band of all time. Sure Maiden and Priest are good but they is nutin comparificated to anything else besides maybe Van Halen. 1.)Van Halen 2.)AC/DC 3.)Metallica 4.)Guns N' Roses 5.)IRON MAIDEN 6.)Paul Gilbert 7.)Buckethead 8.)Megadeth

  • @ByrneBoy95 Not in history perhaps, but really. Outside of their biggest hits, they reuse the hell out of the same riffs.

  • pbmp71@jasperbluto I know the chord progression is virtually the same and that applys to quite a few other tunes but we only have so many chords to work with!! I've actually been playing guitar for 25 years in several rock bands which I am currently in playing this particular tune. Just a matter of opinion dude. Cheers!!!

  • que increible voz !!!!! no me canso de esto

  • You have no clue, this song has no relevance to "start me up" by the stones. Guitar style is completely different!!!

  • @pbmp71 You think I have no clue? I guess you don't play guitar, do you? The intros to both songs are THE SAME. They are played with a slightly different feel but they are the same chords. The same sus-2, root and 7 chords of the scale.

  • rock on! XD

  • Are they called "the cult" because only 30 people like them?
