They are pretty good dancers, but in Namie's video, the dance is pretty great and effortless, her, in my opinion, looks like they're trying too hard.

Well, I think they just have different styles. Namie's dancing is very controlled and smooth, but the dancers in this video have a freer, more energetic style.

what I notice however, is when Namie dances, she's more relaxed and doesn't exaggerate a lot. Whenever someone tries to mimic her dance it goes a little over the top.

But that's just my opinion; it's still a pretty good dance!!

Namie's dancing is relaxed.

She is just very stiff and doesn't put a lot of energy in her movements.

If you see her backup dancers they are at the average "energetic" level. She is just...argh.

Don't get me wrong,her moves are VERY nice. She is just stiff as a board most of the time.

the reason she' stiff might be cause... she's the only dancer wearing high heels? or it might just be what you're saying. *couldn't exactly see what the other dancers were wearing for shoes* but dancing like that with highheels is kind of hard

Well,my step mother teaches dance.

It's actually not hard. I guess it really depends on the moves and how comfortable the person when they move with them.

So I guess that would count. Never seen her wear runners or anything like that in any of her videos.

Yeah, I suppose we have different ways of perspective; because I'd rather have Namie as relaxed, or, in your words, "stiff," because it gives off a more graceful look. But it's just my opinion; I can see where you're going.
