How by His grace, you can draw near to Him. How He is constantly drawing us near to Him. What a comfort in sorrow and just the joy of everyday living with a God who gave everything for you. So who sets the standard to define good? Man certainly doesnt. Only God does because he is perfect and without any sin. It's a way of life, a blessed way of life. If God is truly all knowing he created them knowing they would all burn in hell. God as these people understand him is a tyrant - and yet they bow at his feet out of a hope for everlasting life as his servants. I find it truely amazing that some individuals tend not to beleive in GOD and all his glory. @TheLHSbeast When you are crossing the street you have a "theory" the bus next to you has stopped. You're 99.9% sure it has and all available information you have says that it has. And so you keep walking. If you have a blindfold on, earplugs, and no way of sensing the world around you, and cross the street anyway you are being exceedingly irrational - even if you still are believeing in a "theory". Evidence plays a role. Believe in what deserves your belief - not just because everyone else is.
And by universe I mean the whole of space :P oops! Just try and remember that scientists can never say they are 100% sure of anything. Gravity is still a "theory" as well. But it's a hell of a better theory than an invisible man in the sky ;)

@XXXInuYashaXXXx Big bangs are likely successive. The universe is expanding but slowing down right? Well gravity has no limits in space. A black hole a billion light years away has a tiny tug on Earth. This is why space is slowing. Eventually it will stop. Then it will begin to speed back to a gravitational centre - whatever the strongest entity is in space (a massive black hole perhaps.) With so much force, energy and speed in one place another big bang is not so hard to imagine. :)

When the Earth was formed in the green zone, with a suitable atmosphere and water (none of which is unheard of on other planets) life was just a matter of time. And it wasn't lightning. Solar energy essentially created membranes which later developed into single cell organisms. Look it up.

@rosy48842 Since when did people start thinking that a stack of paper with fragments of God's truth can be defined as the entirety of the infinite wisdom of the omnipotent, omniscient, compassionate God being. The Bible is big, but not everything. Whatever faith traditions you follow, its the faith itself that leads to good. And when you limit yourselves to what you can prove with your own senses and intelligence, you limit yourself to what you could see if you looked through the eyes of faith.
@TheMoralStasis The funny thing is, people who want to live their lives according to facts will never be able to. We are human, imperfect, incapable of a total understanding of how the universe functions. The fact is no matter how hard we try, we as a species will NEVER be able to claim we know everything. @TheMoralStasis There isn't any. Religion isn't meant to be proven by fact. The point of religion is putting faith in something and just believing. If it was something that could be proven then there's not point in "believing" in it. No one goes around saying "I believe in... Fire, Algebra, Hamburgers...etc" (all very stupid but easy to prove examples). You can prove all exist with evidence without a doubt. They aren't something that takes faith. They exist and that's it.

@qwdjhasges I am a christian as well and you make a good point. But, I don't see the benefit in preaching our faith as a type of insurance policy for when we die. It's so much more than that. It's a way of life, a blessed way of life. Believing in God is not about focusing on the reward we get at the end of our lives, but about being thankful for the gift of life he has given us, and using that life to spread his word. I'm sure that you would agree that everyone is free to believe in what they want to, correct? So what happens to all the other religious people who aren't Christians? Children who were raised as Buddhists or Hindus? Should they also burn in hell for believing what they were taught? @yangster5106 Thank you. It's refeshing to hear a fellow rational thinker willing to consider the lives of the billions of non-christians in the world. If God is truly all knowing he created them knowing they would all burn in hell. God as these people understand him is a tyrant - and yet they bow at his feet out of a hope for everlasting life as his servants. Lack of any reason to believe in God aside, I reject such evil and refuse to give an inch to such a cruel and greedy figure.

I find it truely amazing that some individuals tend not to beleive in GOD and all his glory. If you find yourself questing GOD all you have to do is look for him in all his magnificent works such as the clouds, sky, moon, and sun even the the air you breath and the planet you live on. Man could never reach the infinite wonders that GOD has d and all of Judgment Day is coming for all of us you will have to and if you don't believe who are you serving.

There where astouding discoveries of a sequence of found skeletons of humans with many similarities with the common apes... The lack of evolution on these animals can't be seen with the naked eye much because that kind of evoluton takes thousands of years to happen and we have only been aware of this for a very short time...

It's my oppinion. Everyone haves one. I tend to believe in things that I can touch... that I can rely on. I don't think of where I'm going when I die... I belieave on what I can do while I'm alive. And I've seen nothing done by Him while I'm here.
So, I leave death to God... I'm still alive.
When the time come, I'll let the decision to whoever may want to make it

@TheLHSbeast When you are crossing the street you have a "theory" the bus next to you has stopped. You're 99.9% sure it has and all available information you have says that it has. And so you keep walking. If you have a blindfold on, earplugs, and no way of sensing the world around you, and cross the street anyway you are being exceedingly irrational - even if you still are believeing in a "theory". Evidence plays a role. Believe in what deserves your belief - not just because everyone else is.

@XXXInuYashaXXXx Big bangs are likely successive. The universe is expanding but slowing down right? Well gravity has no limits in space. A black hole a billion light years away has a tiny tug on Earth. This is why space is slowing. Eventually it will stop. Then it will begin to speed back to a gravitational centre - whatever the strongest entity is in space (a massive black hole perhaps.) With so much force, energy and speed in one place another big bang is not so hard to imagine. :)

When the Earth was formed in the green zone, with a suitable atmosphere and water (none of which is unheard of on other planets) life was just a matter of time. And it wasn't lightning. Solar energy essentially created membranes which later developed into single cell organisms. Look it up.

@rosy48842 Since when did people start thinking that a stack of paper with fragments of God's truth can be defined as the entirety of the infinite wisdom of the omnipotent, omniscient, compassionate God being. The Bible is big, but not everything. Whatever faith traditions you follow, its the faith itself that leads to good. And when you limit yourselves to what you can prove with your own senses and intelligence, you limit yourself to what you could see if you looked through the eyes of faith.

We are human, imperfect, incapable of a total understanding of how the universe functions. The fact is no matter how hard we try, we as a species will NEVER be able to claim we know everything. We KNOW how stars and the universe formed - read a book on the big bang. 3. Visions are proof now? Druggies have visions all the time, does that mean talking rainbow coloured bunnies are real? 4. The burden of proof for radical claims falls on the claimant - if I say unicorns are real, I need to prove it, not say "YOU CANT DISPROVE ME!"

Scientists are about as sure of both as they are that water is hydrogen & oxygen. Bigs bangs can happen successively (over and over again). Now consider the 2nd law of thermodynamics - energy (and matter really) cannot be created or destroyed. Is it that hard to believe the universe had no beginning? We already know it will have no end.

@TheMoralStasis There isn't any. Religion isn't meant to be proven by fact. The point of religion is putting faith in something and just believing. If it was something that could be proven then there's not point in "believing" in it. No one goes around saying "I believe in... Fire, Algebra, Hamburgers...etc" (all very stupid but easy to prove examples). You can prove all exist with evidence without a doubt. They aren't something that takes faith. They exist and that's it.

@TheMoralStasis The "valid" evidence you're looking for doesn't exist. The commonly know "Almighty God" is just one of many that humanity has believe in. Who is to say “he” does not exist? However, it's also accepted that you cannot prove “he” does exist. Personally I am an agnostic. I’m still waiting for a religion I can expect fully and truly feel comfortable committing to. But it fascinates me to see how people treat religion.

@justsimplyrory well that's also true he said he purposely left no evidence because we must believe in him fully first without satisfaction, and then he would reveal himself. he has kept that promise to me. little "coincidences" happen to me every day that make big changes in life. like when i watched the videos of my gram and i when i was little, a day before she died. If i hadn't, i would have said i love you one last time. I preformed CPR as she faded away the next morning.
