Thats bull. There's no such thing as playing an instrument wrong or right. The drummer does grip his drumsticks a little too hard, I understand that, but you can't go around saying "u hold ur sticks wrong..." What you should be saying is "As constructive criticism, I think that you should loosen your grip."

Being stiff doesn't make you precise. Considering your stiff technique, you are quite precise, but it could sound better and more dynamic if you'd loosen up like Godsdrummer suggested. But good job anyway.

Your technique needs a lot of work though. Your left hand you are using all arm. Try to emphasive your wrist more...when you got that down start emphasizing your fingers. Hopefully this helped you out.
