Just a question, what are the tracks width in you pcb? i think you are dealing with a couple of amps or a lot more, im working on a project where i manage 20 Amps and my pcb gets really hot i think i have to increase track width but i don't know how much more. If you can post a squematic on your H bridge would be great :D thanks in advice!
Wow I finally found a video of somebody that thinks like me. Inventing things is not learned, it just naturally occurs in the mind and becomes an obsession.
Excellent work! I'm just beginning starting on a pop-can solar panel and enjoyed those vids as well.
About the tracker - has anyone build a computer controlled tracker where you can simply plug in your lat / long and make the panel follow the sun in that way. Last time I checked, the sun's position is fairly predictable each day.
This is by far the best DIY home made solar tracker I've seen made. Even though it is rough, it can be refined and used with larger panels. Great inventing with parts. This is an inspiration to keep moving forward. Hi from sunny FL
Thanks yes this could be used for bigger systems this is just a small inside motor if you use a outdoor type they can hold a lot more weight plus you can control it your self too
Very cool Rich. I wish we were neighbors! I built my first solar heater about a month ago. I plan on building another using the pop can downspouts that I saw on your 4th heater video. I also have an idea to increase the heat using baffles. Check out my vids.
lol ya they know me at lows for the same reason, now they run and hide cuz they know if i'm looking for them i'm up to something

you didnt say whether the solar panel is more efficient and does the extra amount of electricity produced equal the amount the solar tracker uses?
