  • i wish that too but i want see it go fast not this slow

  • CGiordano464 I hate to be a downer but the Erie Triplex was a total failure because of so many issues with the design. Even with that being said i still wish it was preserved for looks. I wish that so many steam locomotives were still around.... *sigh*

  • thta must of been so cool to see running in real life. they were all scraped tho :(

  • I thought I read somewhere that the prototype's maximum HP/torque that wasn't waste was at 5 or so MPH. I could be wrong.

  • @drglinski its about 10mph, it had to do with the exhaust drafting.

  • Got a G scale Russian blue [like the vid] put away till @ Feb in hobby shop-It will be great company for my G scale Big Boy AND my G scale Challenger-woo hoo!!

  • @iinlovejameslafferty the 1 gauge version has a smoking whistle with different ending sounds based on the speed of the engine.

  • @sort187 I don't think so there may have been an electrical problem on it not sure but that is my guess.

  • i own all lionel and this would be the only MTH locomotive id buy! thats a good thing.
