  • Jack Scott's niece is a friend of mine and she's a rockabilly singer, too. I saw jack sing with her at her wedding reception last year.

  • Jack Scott wrote this song about an Ex-Girlfriend that he had just broken up with? How sad!!

  • Mine and my wifes wedding song

  • Canadian born Jack deserves to be in the Canada Walk of Fame ...instead of these crap/rap mongrels.

  • @ivanzbuddy Yeah so sad he's In the Michigan Music Hall of Fame? Thou Jack Scott Is Canadian from Windsor! He considers himself american since he became an american citizen and foremost considers himself a detroiter even more than a canadian!!

  • Now this is music you never forget them days because they had meaning what is called ''LOVE''

  • I was 13 when this record came out and it was playing the first time I ever held a girl dancing the slow dance....I was in heaven. All these years later it's still great,

thanks for uploading. Glad to hear Jack is still with us.

  • First 45 i purchased was this. I played it over and over and over some more flipping it over needless to say countless times as well And then With your love, followed by Goodbye Baby, three GIANT tunes of 1958 You were my fav artest back then and still rock in my book .

  • G R E A T !!!!!

  • Yes a great job with pictures.Love Jack Scott.

  • If I ever got a flirty look from Nicole Kidman I'd wet my pants. Thanks for the tasteful video, BUT, you forgot my true love.........Tuesday Weld.

  • 50s and 60s music..is this our secret? (people from that era)

  • This has been one of my all-time favorite songs, & I just love what you've done in your video. What a treat just to sit back & watch & listen. Thanks peppopb.

  • In my Nightingale flight last night...flying over memory lane and all of those special places...incredible joy filling my little bird heart...and everything was beautiful again....because it always was!

through clear as a bell. This guy was terriffic!

  • Thanks for this upload peppopb a classic from Jack and a great production. Can you tell me who owns the lovely face (second one in) at :18.... almost as magical as the song ! Keep up the good work (pictures and music)

  • super song will last forever

  • I just read his Biography and it is simply amazing that this man has not nominated for the R&R Hall of Fame. Another forgotton artist, sad.

  • This is the best video I've ever seen on you tube. There should be some kind of a rating system or award. Shows some real talent. I just kind of fell into it. What a good job.

  • Is that ROMANTIC or what!!!

  • Does anyone know who the lovely lady is at :35....

  • @jfc4838 Marilyn Monroe.

  • @jfc4838 I believe it's Marilyn Monroe. Compare the eyebrows to the later picture of her in the video.

  • This was a great make out song when it first came out. I know because I saw all kinds of boys and girls making out while slow dancing. Where was I? On the side lines just watching. LOL Oh well that was about 50 years ago.

  • A Classic...what else can you say...the words...the beat...the theme...WOW !!!!

  • Canadian born Jack Scott deserves recognition ...let's all nominate him for The Canadian Walk of Fame.

  • Jack Scott, (Jack Scafone jr.)one of the few Italian Country&Western singers but he had a some big hit records and this is one of them.

    Ron--Highway Star Magazine

  • gott in himmel, freud would love this one,all it needs is a touch more animation, and some furry animals,an you could post it on kinky garden and barnyard sites.Personally, might have bought too many flowers, kind of obscures the tasty morsals between.and then there was Raquel........

  • That vid was Truly Pornographic. You dirty B`stard !

    More ! ! !

  • Agree about the pictures, a great way to set of this wonderful song. (I think you love Nicole Kidman! I would have had Linda Ronstadt in here).

  • 1958 i was eighteen, bought this on 45rpm backed with the "blaster" of all time "leroy!" used to play them on record changer plugged into the lightswitch--now i can let them blast thro' big speakers with big power--sound better than ever!

  • i found my true love a brunette named kris.

  • Beautiful! Can anyone tell me who are the first 2 women shown on this incredible video?

  • This song showcases the really great voice of Jack Scott...Just a beautiful song..I think i was about 8 yrs old when I first heard it....great song...

  • One of the, if not the, most unappreciated entertainers of all time. Similar to Bill Medley

  • Love your video to this song!!!

  • Great news! Jack Scott is still actively singing and touring today and resides in a suburb of Detroit.

  • @Tigermoon1950 Yup the Detroit Suburb of Sterling Heights. Michigan.

  • @MagicGary1960 moar like madison heights

  • With the right management Jack Scott would be a household word today. He had good looks, style, and one hella of a voice. But, it was not to be. I for one think he was one of, if not the best, in his time.

  • @PhilipJamesPrentice ....Agreed!!....The big reason was TIMING....Elvis came along about the same time....Jack Scott was nearly his equal....but not quite.

  • Hey pep, I didn't know there were others out ther who treasure such rare songs. I have em all in my collection, but rarely listen to them all. It's easier to just listen to them on youtube.

    Thanks bud

  • Peter was never in Rome. You've been had, you've been took!

  • Kidman looks like my mother.

  • Great song and terrific video. Brings back many good memories....thank you Peppopb.

  • What an era to grow up in. Wonderful music, great artists. Too bad the kids of today couldn't have a taste of yester year. Perhaps there wouldn't be the violence and disrespect for human kind that we all share today. Thank you for the posting.

  • @sixtiessearcher

And Vietnam was right around the corner. It changed everything. I went and glad I did. I just wish they would have let us win it.

  • @yoyoofloco GREAT COMMENT ON VIETNAM. I TOO WAS PROUD TO SERVE MY COUNTRY. Bill G.

  • @65patbill I commanded the 99th Ord Det (EOD) in 1972. We got caught in the Easter Offensive of that year and was all over the country. I commanded the 8th Ord Det (EOD) in 68/69 supporting the folks up in the DMZ in Korea. The media never mentioned what we had to do and were faced with.

  • @65patbill What!!? Your country is the vatican? Get the non-papist soldiers and their little brothers and sisters back home hooked on dope, and then leave Viet Nam with a papist government? The only "country" that protects is the vatican. SPURN THE MUSE!!

  • Being from the 50's and 60's era, I took all of this great music for granted and now I have come to appreciate what real talent and kick ass music is!

  • This is just another example of what great music used to sound like.Take me back to the 50's and 60's any day.I didn't know how good I had it then while listening to all these songs.I have this on LP,but thanks for posting.

  • @rockdoowop5060

I concur with you wholeheartedly. I suppose we took it for granted that this type of music would always be produced. Little did we know that the magical harmonies and tunes would degenerate to what we have today: noise that passes for music. I long for the sounds of the 1950s and 1960s.

  • Great!

  • Excellent job of integrating the pictures. You should be a Hollywood producer. No kidding. Great work!

  • @ronfosteronline First song I ever danced to 1958

  • @ronfosteronline The technical aspects may be exceptional, but artistically peppopb is missing the point. It's "My True LOVE" not "My True LOVES". Showing more than one woman is contrary to the lyrics.

  • @rb62470 picky, picky, picky.

  • @ronfosteronline it takes more then integrating some pictures on a youtube video to be a hollywood producer.

  • does anybody know where i can buy this track , i ve a double album called grizzly bear but its not on this doule album.

  • first song I ever learned to play and sing

  • Jack Scott is playing in Fraser MI on Sept 25, 2009. Call Fraser poice 586-293-1425 for tickits. Its a fund raiser for the Fraser police.

  • I just read you post...I used to live in Roseville...now in Santa Rosa, Ca...sorry I missed that....the only thing I know about fraser is that Tom Edison once worked there as a telegrapher....if you like this music you should see my facebook site....

    I love this stuff..

  • ppicker340 please ignore the thumbs down . i hit the wrong one. It is , as you say , a work of art !!

  • peppopb You have put together a beautiful vidio !!!

  • PEPPOPB'S You Are Gorgeous!
