Really cool! I have seen it done w/o the little stick, though, and it was really cool. MAGICIANS: Don't tell me about why the stick is essential. I know. The person doing the version I saw probably had a very high quality [word removed for secrecy]. This effect evokes a certain wonder I don't see in the big box illusions.

This is a great effect. I bought the instructions about a year ago but still have not gotten around to making it. But after watching this clip again I am inspired to make the time to do it. You don't need to use a milk crate for this to pull it off. For anyone who knows how this is done, you can build yourself a wooden box with the same opening views. I built a wooden box myself and decorated it up. This is a very thought out illusion.
