@erikimba Thanks for the kind words. I'm playing accented triplets on the bass drum pedals. The notes I'm not accenting I'm playing as double strokes.
At the beginning of the piece I'm hearing 1/8 note triplets, but when I bring in the hands I'm then hearing my feet as being in 3/16 time (or 3/4 time) depending on how you look at it.
I don't know if this answers your question as it's the kind of thing which is difficult to describe in a few words.
@chrisbrien yes i understand it clearly those are 5 stroke rolls right, but i just heard some other maybe "random" accents? but still you are playing every 3rd note accents just like you are suffleing or giving more flavor to it, right? thanks to you for your work and sharing it, you have become besides virgil donati and grant collins my top 3 favorite octopus drummers from Australia! hell yeah!
I've been blown away by Chris' playing & inhuman foot independence since I first discovered his playing about 2 years ago through his affiliation with Sonor, I'm a Sonor fanatic, after seeing vids of Thomas Lang--another "bass pedal monster". :)
Chris, I particularly love the dark, trashy China you have high on your right side. What kind is it? I have a 19" K China which comes close but isn't as trashy. I'd love to know what that cymbal is!
@chrisbrien I appreciate you taking the time to reply! I'll keep a lookout for either of those on eBay. Now if only I could buy foot independence as easily as that! ;)
can you please describe the foot pattern? this is awesome =)

@Coelacanth97 Thanks for your kind words. Nice to hear from someone whom understands and appreciates "Independence".
Great to hear that some of my musical concepts have inspired you musically.
The cymbal on this video is a UFIP 18" Bionic Series Cymbal. They are wonderful cymbals.
These days I endorse Zildjians. I find that the Zildjian 18" A Custom China is very similar in texture.
All the best. C.B.

aree those gibraltar or sonor pedals?

These are Sonor pedals, but fortunately I switched to Gibraltar 9611 Intruder Pedals in 2006 which are far more comfortable to play.

Possibly the mos impressive thing I have seen done on drums. I don't think I'll ever put the effort to be able to do this, but mad props.
