I dont understand why people say so much negative comments on a KJ there still a jeep and they actually are very capable offroad. I been surprised by them a few times.
@Pre5tig3 Because people think every single Jeep should be molded from the Wrangler, thus, eventually running Jeep out of business due to catering to a select group. I say, if you own ANY Jeep and love off roading, I'll respect you and your Jeep.
hey i have a jeep liberty too and im planning to lift it too, how much did it cost u and + how much will it cost if u let it do by a garage man cuz i dont know much about this stuf lol
@bhennessee01 fuck you bitch everyone knows that the kj is where shit started going down hill you are just mad because you know real jeeps have straight axles.
hey crazy guy take those damn anti-sway bars off. front and rear, they actually flex fairly well without the sway bars even with the IFS or pick up and HP44 and slam that under the front haha
the new liberty is not my style i like the 08 and below but have u seen the new cherokee omg its so lugery now i dont lke it except for the quadralift
i know that probably you not have anymore your libby, but how fast your ball joints wear out?, and what other suspension component wear out also, with the lift kit?
@warracer03 if you want something to drive on the street they are great, but if you offroad you want straight axles which means a cherokee or a wrongler.
You will get a lot more flex in the front with the sway bar disconnected. I have JeepinByAl disconnects on my 06 Liberty CRD and I just got back from a 2 weeks of trails in Colorado and it did great even without a lift. I sure surprised my friends that were with me because I was going through the same places that they were taking their modified '82-'87 Toyotas.

Nice vid man. I've got an '05 Renegade with a 4" homebrew mix of Rancho and OME parts. Hung an ARB and Warn M8000 off of the front end. KJs rock man. Keep it up.
great vid thanks! I have an 02' Lib Renegade, I'm looking to get rid of some the inherent soccer-mom look with a lift and some tires. This is some great inspiration
hey i have a 2006 jeep liberty limited and i was going to put a lift kit and maybe some brush guards on it and also some lights kinda like the blue one in the video so if anyone can help me that would be great i would also like a good website to go to for buying parts
@jeep4me99 doesnt look like shit man pretty nice. i ordered a two and a half inch suspensoin lift from rustys offroad with all new coil springs and shocks and i put wheel spacers on it, just trying to decide on tires now.
never had a problem....the KJs are tough, but if you get the front wheels spinning then they bite you will blow the front diff for sure. Unless you're locked.
nice libbey just lifted my 03 with daystar lift kit having trouble with the size of tire .I'm running 245 75 r16s find there 2 small want to go 265 75 r16 don't know if they will fit
i bought those rims and tires used off a wrangler rubicon. got all 5 or each for $500. Those tires themselves usually cost around $160ish each though. They are 245/75/16 MT/Rs
Did someone miss the announcement? MEN do not drive a Liberty! Oh sorry ok,,, nice gift from the wife yes. ;) Just kidding have an 06 Sport and love it for desert running.
whats the name of the second song please and thank you, very good video by the way nice and simple, thats reflects on your jeep too nice and simple and does the job
hey i just bought my liberty and thinking about doing what you did to yours. can you tell me exactly what you purchased and from where so i can buy my lift. thanks.
Details of the lift are listed below in one of the responses. the parts can be found through many suppliers. visity the KJ discussion forum on the lostkjs website. There is tons of info on there as to where to get the cheapest parts and what setup will work best for you. Thanks
those are 245/75/16 goodyear MT/Rs on Rubicon Moab rims. I have no rubbing or driveline issues. The Moab's have different backspacing than the stock rims...that size tire on a stock rim will rub on the pinch weld and front fender.
its my own creation off a popular aftermarket lift. but consists of old man emu front springs and struts, daystar upper strut plate and rusty's off road .75" poly spacer. The rear is rusty's springs and old man emu shocks + and extra upper spring isolator.
I got CRD want some decent rubber maybe get away from 16inch tires go 15's. Can I fit 30x95.0 bfg kos and some sort inexpensive 15inch rim.

looks good for a liberty, needs a solid axle conversion to be a real jeep, but looks good for no major cutting and welding and fabrication
