Democracy as a system taken from Native Americans in the sense of a federation of states/nations... but the title democracy is the Greek form of the idea although that dealt with governing one nation and not bonding and governing a federation of nations... I guess states bond to nation and create a base for democracy in America today... but it is totally class based and so much more like Greece than Native American but far less intelligent, functional, or just than either of them.

Democracy of "iroquois union" differ from the democracy of ancient greece. Democracy of irouquois union didn't know "class society" all people were equal. In the Greece reech people ruled over country and slaves on a democratic principles! That kind of democracy is yours.

Thx 4 the video, but you cut a key part from the series. The Seneca, Mohawk, & Cayuga allied with the British. The Oneida joined the colonists. The Onondaga were neutral. George Washington ordered the continental army into Haudenosaunee territory. They attacked the Onondaga (neutral), burning houses and crops. As a result, GW is known as Hanadegaies, which means "Town Destroyer." U.S. took land from all including the Oneida, who provided blankets and corn to GW's starving troops at Valley Forge.
