@Justin49082 Absolutely Beautiful, My uncle just got the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Editon with the 5.7 Liter Hemi, and trust me, it is one b.a. ride, I have to 2006 Limited with the 5.7L and i love it but Jeep really stepped up their game this time around!
@Ericec4126 Unfortunately no, there is nothing within Chrysler that I know to be coming out anytime soon for the SRT8 Model. At least nothing's leaked yet. Def nothing slated for 2011. BUT we keep our fingers crossed for 2012! (And the reintroduced the 392 Hemi again!!!)
@quadshow Thanks, we had just got it in that day and I was a little fuzzy on some of the info. Have had quite a bit more exerience with them since, and even drive one as my demo. If you have anymore questions, send them my way. Thansk Again.
ok i get that its keyless, keep going on with the video jesus christ! i have one myself the exact same one just silver same everything! great car! so stable and stiff and so smooth and relaxing in the city... speaking of highway speed it has so much pickup for a v6 flex fuel, i go 80 mph without even floring it off the entrance to parkway...insane!
@quadshow Actually not yet. The highest production model they have so far is the Overland with the 5.7L hemi. The SRT8 Is still in the works. Chrysler is switching around their powertrain to include Fiat technology. They have a 6.4L Hemi in the works, a 8.6L V10, and a couple of others. The plan was to drop the 6.4 into the challener and SRT8 vehicles, but then they decided to fit the V10 into the challenger with no word on SRT8.
@2grand4U Its a 6cyl (3.6L Pentastar V6). And NICE videos, I'm impressed. You're Cherokee is a work of art and I'd be interested to see its capabilities once your finished especially with the Stroker swap. Keep up the good work man!
The Quadra-Lift suspension is available on ALL 4x4 models (Laredo, Limited, and Overland. It will be standard on the Overland 4x4 with the Quadra-Drive II.
It is NOT a crossover. When equipped with the Quadra-Lift suspension, it has almost 11 inches of clearance and has the Jeep Trail Rating.
The body and much of the technology on the JGC is cutting edge and much of it is shared with the 2011 Mercedes ML line. It has all the Electronic nannies you could ever want.
@bradnc1988 You know Brad, I do too for looks. And I completely agree with you. This New Jeep has won in my eyes though because of the refinement, the technology and capabilities they have introduced. It looks more urban (yuck) but it performs more Jeep without the cost of luxury.
@Justin49082 Well said man. I stoped to look at one today and its really incredible the amount of features it really has. As of right now, I still plan to buy 2010' model. However I'm considering trying to convert the lights to the 2011 model..haha. It just looks so aggresive from the front. But im a critic when it comes to these things. Great vid btw.
hey justin49082, my question is whenever i watch reviews of this suv(motortrend, motorweek) to the right of the selec-trac i see 1 for increasing the ride height, why didnt i see it on this model, or does that come only with the v8
@center777 Well the Selec-trac is a package option. The Laredo's don't come standard with that. BUT if you upgrade to a Limited then its available. Though its still an option and may or may not be on the vehicle depending on how it was ordered.
@VIDAMANii A little bit lol, I think the front looks like a Porsche, the rear like a BMW, and the sides are pretty average. Its the technology thats inside that makes a difference.
It's called "keyless entry" and "keyless start", stuff that's been coming standard on Lexus models for 2 years now. And wait,2011 and the navigation isn't included in the initial package? The rear looks like an Audi Q7, which is hot and I like what they did with the front as well but the only model I'd go for is the srt8, otherwise I'll stick to Lexus and Range Rover.
@TheAirsoftbeast22 Well they HAVE decided to produce the SRT8 New Grand Cherokee outfitting it with the 6.4L Hemi V8 (500+hp). However, they have not determined if they will introduce it for this production year (2011) or for next (2012).

@yourfacelookslikebut Lol very good point, but like with any keys, I wouldnt advise leaving them openly in your car.

Like the previous design more. Too close to a Crossover. Although the new grill & lights are pretty attractive.
