I have only been trying to play my new trumpet since Christmastime 2011. I may have about maybe 15-20 hours on it--not playing tunes yet, just notes and transitions. I just got a Bach 11 EW mouthpiece a week ago, played it only twice, an hour a pop and I got WAY WAY higher than that! I can't read music yet so I don't know what note it was, but my buddy was like "WOW!!! And I hit it several times and it was high--really high! My lowly Oxford trumpet didn't blow up either! Cute clip tho! Cheers!!!
