In order to be on top of your game a band has to stay in front of the public and appear to be successful as well as always having a good time. Bad publicity, silence for too long is not good. to stop at once w/out any PR front man and not throw your fans a bone of info some kind of = bad idea. I agree why the Exies were never more popular -- again I can only think of the time period was just after 9/11/2001 -- until the war in Iraq started to become unpopular in 2005 do I think that some of the bands that were playing such hard rock became popular, again.
