What if they closed it just for the opposite purpose?
The number of sightings in UK is large, maybe the people expects some answers from defense, and then they (defense) dont want to give credit because they dont know what really UFO's are.
(Or already know and dont want to release information)
Just like when Project Bluebook officially retired UFO investigations in the United States in 1969, the U.K. announcing that it is closing it's doors on the official investigation of UFOs in the U.K. opens the door for dedicated civillian investigators from MUFON to take the helm to bring UFO truth to the public.
The Ministry of Defense in the U.K. may state they no longer "OFFICIALLY" investigate UFOs, but you can be sure that they are still covertly studying the phenomenon.
closed cause they finaly realised everything is fake as hell .. yet fun to keep yourself busy with.. but its fake ! its like a hobby..
