  • it looks like her hands are flying through the air. She plays this song very beautifully and emotionally. For most people they'd be probably like sweating at the end of this but instead she plays it emotionally and enjoys this. :)

  • Are there some notes cut out at 2:52 ?

  • magnifique et extrement dur à jouer: bravo.

  • i can play 0:00 to 0:06

  • had we had 20 fingers would the music be better?

  • I like her dress.

  • simply perfect

  • i'd go see her, but i bet she wouldnt come with me to a death metal concert ... closeminded homo sapiens tsk tsk ...

  • The music is beautiful, and so is she...

  • @GraceBarra

Yeah, and u talk about fantasie impromptu is nonsense and spell it wrong. Do u think it is easier to compose such song than writing shit comments like that?

  • very nice!!! beautifull!

  • I love this pice i'm never going to stop piano until I can play this

    but then I still won't stop !

  • @99mushroomhead My friend, you and I have the same objective. ;)

  • @KNRIOO I'm very glad you think that :)

  • I do love Chopin... But that particular song is Bored , and non sence , that is no Harmony on it...not at all

  • @GraceBarra :O dude are you serious???

  • @snickers631 What do you mean .by .that, im serious????/ I am very serious , and i have my own oppinion . And i think this song is a peace of Shit. Period ....lol

  • @GraceBarra It's not a song , so learn what a song is before putting this piece down...

  • @oli6880 NAH NAH NAH ISN'T A SONG , BUT MUSIC RIGHT? WHICH IS THE SAME SHIT...AND HOWEVER : ITSTILL FOR ME A PEACE OF SHIT ,MADEBY CHOPIN......THAT IS IT

  • Love this ...

  • Well THIS Valentina knows how to play the piano !

  • Это лучшее исполнение

  • Chuck norris hands

  • @GraceBarra Strange that you don't like this great piece...

  • @GraceBarra dont like chopin? how cant you? explain me ... i ever thought it was impossible ...

  • 213 people thought it was "Dis-i-like" button :))

  • 213 people can't hear music

  • @xshadow132x Now are 215

  • @xshadow132x make it 217

  • Was gonna put this on in the background while I worked on a book report... I know realize that that will never work. it's too much for my mind to handle.

  • how can you dislike genius,DONT WATCH THEN..............

  • flawless!

  • not only does she make Lola Astanova look bad, but she makes her SOUND bad

  • best interepretation....better than yundi li's

  • This video is a favorite on Abidjan

  • There should be a button called "Love it"

  • pero que hija de puta, no puede tocar tan bien esta guacha

  • I love all her interpretations. This is probably my favorite piece. Not exactly a show-off of skills, but it has a lot of emotion in it..u can feel it. I'm trying to learn this piece but it's really hard.. I listen to this like everyday.. Love it.

  • loved it minus the sorta cheesy ending where she looks into the cam...

  • Great performance. I like this much better than Li Yundi's performance. By comparison, this is much more delicate and less mechanic.

Is the slow middle section missing a repeat? Is it intentional? Kind of good idea to me, since the repeat make it feels too long, and add basically nothing new.

  • BELICIMA

  • I agree this is the best interpretation in my opinion...

  • This is the best interpretation of Fantasie Improptu that i have listened

  • Chopin, my favorite. You play beautifully. I can play it, but not like this!

  • Wow, I love you

  • oh god...

  • So GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i get the "feeling"!

  • Imagine having that piano.....

  • Bravo Respect

  • Sensationell !

  • Valentina dedicated her life to the keys. I hope one day to be as good as her. But unlike her i cannot read music lol. oh! and If anyone is interested in giving me feedback on my video of me playing fantasie impromptu it would be appreciated! !!! (So i can one day become truly great)!

  • Did she skip some middle part?

  • @hirokiirino Yes she skipped 12 stanzas of the middle part...

Not sure stanza is the right word, but im not english, and i think you got the point. :D

  • Es curioso, raro, que una mujer tan hermosa dedique su vida a un arte tan difícil; en casos así, ellas prefieren el espejo.

  • Wooow , if i can play like you , yes i will bee happy

Thaks for good play , nice going

A littel word from Denmark <3

  • Why would Chopin regret writing this? I don't understand.

  • @duoweiyang I don't know the reason in this instance, but sometimes composers regret writing works that are more widely recognized and loved than pieces that they actually preferred.

  • My favourite part: 0:23 -0:40.

  • @Nm0l My favorite part: 0:00 - 4:34

  • Chopin later regretted ever composing this opus, thankfully he regretted it too late.

  • Why would Liszt be mad? He knew Chopin, championed his work, and taught his students pieces by Chopin. And you know, Liszt was a great composer as well.

  • this is so gorgeous I can't describe how impressed I am. How can you compose something like this?

  • mi sn innamorato

  • So GOOD

  • amazing

  • I understand, Chuck Norris is "awesome", but please just stop leaving stupid comments about Chuck Norris playing pieces with a single finger, his chn, etc... You're just ruining the video.

  • This is the best played Fantasie Impromptu I have heard on YouTube yet. It's fabulous; smooth and emotional; how it's supposed to be played. From what I can tell, there's no flaws at all in her playing. Excellent job!

  • Its been a year and I still haven't gotten this song down yet. The only one I can actually play successfully is "La Campanella" by Liszt.

  • Ok, who cares if a woman or a man plays it!

  • CHuck Norris plays it with one hand

  • @lanhas5 no he doesn't..

  • @0pudding0 he plays it with his chin...

  • @HyperShanic928 No he doesn't play with his chin either and if he does, show me the video where he does it.

  • @0pudding0 lol thats the worst attempt at trolling i have ever seen

  • love this peace!

  • There is nothing more beautiful than a woman play piano

  • Played so beautifully by such a beautiful woman! INCREDIBLE!!

  • this is my favourite piano piece and by far the best interpretation

  • Иначе чем гениальной эту интерпритацию не назвать.

  • I would love to see you and Valentina Lisitsa in a mud-fight! OMG!

  • @ajguy8 omg

  • 140%

  • Hraje nádherně. Chopinovo srdce, jak poznávám, je mi velmi blízké.

  • WOW! Impeccable!

  • Lindo s2

  • i just love the piano, the clasic music, and this song, and i don't know what kind of sick people can dislike this piece of music art....

  • This is how the piano is supposed to be played... not like one of those songs with a crappy rhythm that has no variation like in that one song... what was it? Love Song? Or, Im gonna write you a love song? something like that?

  • ben 10 ultimate alien - the episode "it's not easy being gwen"

  • i love her ! she plays chopin's pieces in a soft way. Is amazing to hear her

  • This really did brought me to fantasy.

  • Comment removed

no comparison at all, Valentinas FI is just out of this world

  • @Kinjutsuu LOL stop kissing your own ass douchebag, making you talk shit!

I like Valentina's performance! Jung Lin's is the best version, even better than Horowitz.

  • bravo

  • Que bella, ambas, un arte unico

  • I think it's my favourite piece. And this sure is my favourite interpretation. I wish I could play it someday...

  • deslumbrante interpretação, sem palavras.........Valentina parabéns!!!

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww shit

  • Why are there 208 dislikes??

  • She could play it better :d

  • @Apokarimon can u play it better?

  • My wife must be playing like this.... and as pretty as her too

  • ¡¡¡Esto es simplemente hermoso!!!

  • IRRELEVANT COMMENT: she has hair on her arms xD

  • @Avramopoulos1 Enjoy the MUSIC you idiot.

  • @Avramopoulos 1 and you dont?

  • hermoso...

  • She plays divinely! I love her style.

  • Excellent ritardando....

  • I love this, specially performed by her!

  • JUznG LING?

  • @mathsprofessional It's Jung Lin and her live performance is extraordinary, she plays Gilels-like :-))

  • loved it. The piece is played very much Rubinstein-like, which is my favourite interpretation. So: congrats Valea!

  • very good nice channel ! Thanks for sharing

  • earorgasm:D

  • This is absolutely beautiful! I have a song by Chopin on my account, as well as a few songs that I've written myself. I would love for you guys to check them out :) Thanks!

  • If I had one wish that would actually come true it would be to play the piano like she does......even anywhere near as well as she does..... but it will never happen :(

  • your performances will just wow just about anybody

  • Honestly, the hardest part by far in this piece is the end, which she plays to complete perfection

  • She whips her hair back and forth, she whips her hair back and forth...

  • Comment removed

  • Deslumbrante interpretação..BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful.

I am a concert pianist and just posted my first video on you tube that was filmed in my studio in Canada. I invite all of you to watch my interpretation of Fantaisie impromptu and comment it. Looking forward to share with you.

  • Deslumbrante pianista Valentina Igoshina interpretando esta maravilhosa musica de Frederic Chopin...

  • If I ever play with the same clarity as you....I will be happy.

  • Although one might not hear this 1000000 times played impromptu any longer ... wonderful finger technique (!), musicality, transparent play. Wonderful. I think it might not be easy to play a piece like this impromptu knowing that is has been heard by the audience over hundreds of times ...

  • Need better hair.

  • Almost done studying this piece, will upload a full video soon.

Have improved a lot on the fast part aswell (if you've seen my video where I play the first part)

  • would smash

  • We have 204 no brainers on youtube!

  • beautiful hands, beautiful woman, beautiful music......seriously what more can you ask for?

  • ai valoare

  • I don't care what fucking age she is, let's just fuckin get married.

  • This is so beautiful, I play myself, it is nothing more stimulating than playing pieces like this. Believe me, it really takes the cake.

  • Brilliant!!!

  • @hfleung100 shes actually 32 rite now...

  • Well that confirmed two things for me, theres nothing more beautiful and soothing then tranquil music from a piano, and that theres at least 204 people in this world with no taste. This is just amazing!

  • I think 1.3 million of those views are mine.

  • she's so beautiful....

  • when i first tried this piece out, i randomly mashed the left and right hands together..=.=

  • @ijustwantalife lmao!!!!!!!! Sorry, I find that very funny xD

  • At 4:32 she wanted to say: "That's right, you will never be able to do this!"

  • Very magical, you gave me goosebumps and took me away for a moment. I can feel those moments where you paused quite intense. Thank you for appreciating chopin's romance. Bravo!

  • Hey, guys, can you feel the intensity of the f**k we do not give about her age ? Look at her hands and listen to what she does with them. Whatever her age is, everything about this video (from musicality to technical skills) is impressive.

  • born in 1978 ^^ !

  • is it me, or dose a part of it sound like its from legend of zelda, the fairy fountain music :/

  • You mean at 54 right? It does sound like Legend of Zelda because it's a chromatic scale and Zelda has that as well in one of the themes.

  • practice song for 2 hours, listen to this version, give up for a while, repeat.

  • I'm 20. Is it too late to start learning piano!? :(

  • @xdanierox HELL no.

  • @xdanierox You've already gotten a reply, but I just want to second OnlyOnWednesdays' "HELL no." comment. That is all. =)

  • @xdanierox Even though many piano players start learning at an early age, it's never too late to learn an instrument!

  • @xdanierox

No, it's not ! Maybe too late to be first in any competitions (?) But everything depends on the willingness. Man can develop at any time if it wants. You need a time.

I'm 35 and I started to learn play piano a month ago. I want to play music which I love to hear (some day). Is there any better reason ? Money ?

No one assumes, when he begins to learn that it will be a great musician in the future. Simply to learn.

Go to music school. Nothing is impossible.

  • @xdanierox its not.. i started 1 year ago and im 22.. and im doing great.. of course if u wanna reach that level u have to practice A LOT!!.. i practice 1 hour.. or 2 hours a day.. i dont think i can reach that level.. but who knows.. maybe with 6 years of practice..

  • @xdanierox better late then never :)

  • Very beautiful.
