how inportant is that nylon washer i lost mine :( i've been using my A5 without it and it seems to work fine. should i replace it though? and if so do u have any idea where get it?
Ok i installed the vortex mod, and either the screw rattled out of the ratchet or i used the wrong screw and it stripped the ratchet.
Do you know if it would be possible to buy some sort of screw from a hardware store that would replace that missing screw, or will the squishy paddles sit in the cyclone like my stock paddles, without a screw.
If you are having ball breaks or shoot at a high ROF, than they are a very good investment. I play in the winter and the paint will get brittle and tend to chop in the cyclone. These paddles will almost completely eliminate that, unless your using really BAD paint.
If you have an E-Grip or R/T it will also reduce ball chops at your high rates of fire.
yes i would assume so i am going to get one for my a-5 even though i have a ego 08 but that would be for back up. why i brought that up was because i only use high quality paint, and better paint is more brittle and your a-5 could crush the paint, which happened to my friend when he was using it in a tourney!!! so yes it makes a huge difference if you use good paint.. but i would recommend it anyways.
hes got that sleight of hand perk on while changing those screw tips lol

All it does is reduce a little more friction. Not a terribly big deal. I wouldn't worry about it if it's been working fine.

Do you have to screw out the cyclone feed? Or can you just leave it on the marker?

It is easier if you do.

is the egrip better than the rt or the other way around

I personally prefer the R/T because I like to tinker & tweak things. I also don't like to mess with batteries.
If you want to easy dial in the Rate of Fire, then the E-grip would be easier to use.

I just ordered the squishy paddles from the tech t website.
Do they come with a new screw because my old one got stripped and it fell out
