What the heck! Stop comparing Fray to Gould! I am an absolute fan of Gould's but Fray is quite amazing and still has a lot to give. Not to say that he does not sound like Gould at all (although you can feel the Gould worshipper in him). However, on hearing Gould one can tell it's Gould. On hearing Fray one can't YET tell it's Fray...and I don't know yet whether it is a good or a bad thing.

This is a very bad interpretation of Beethoven's essencial composition! The violinist look as if he played some shallow Paganini or Kreisler! There are few violinists in the world that can understand Beethoven, because their mind is being constantly fed with cheap violin virtuoso musicthus they never develope a serious attitude for Beethoven. For them it's the same to play Beethoven or Paganini. Beethoven would die in tears if he ever saw Heifetz.

@AhimSaah One does not have to blame Paganini or Kreisler to worship Beethoven. Paganini and Kreisler were wonderful Violinists AND composers.

wow he really does look like gould...thats scary, doesnt have any of goulds mannerisms though such as constant humming and rocking back and forth.
