  • oum kalthoum , you are the queen of singing for all times

  • kalthoum is the greatest arab female singer of all times. no one can get closer to her. a real dive, a queen, an icon for ever...

  • There's only one love: OM KULTHOUM.

  • simply stunning... amazing.. the 1st lady of Arabian singing

  • Probably my english is too bad. I wanted to say that I love Umm Kulthum voice. Who wrote her voice isn't beautiful is probably deaf

  • @daveinrome There are a lot of tone deaf people on here. I agree with you.

  • And where & to whom should I go to exact justice for your love?? How in the world does anyone translate "yitool bu3dak, wa-a3eesh ba3dak 3ala shogi wa-ashjani???" No one can unless they're Shakespeare who if he had known the Arabic language would've written in non other!!"Wabat an3y an wi-dam3y" Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can if you could write it in Arabic scribt. The quality of the video is poor & I could hardly hear the exact words.

  • That would be great,yes,thanks

  • My dear friend nabadraadshe , with all due respect...kchelu is not talking

about English translation but he's talking

about the sense of the words & how beautiful and powerful they are, and it's very hard to none Arabs to understand or to translate it to another language other than Arabic because nobody will be able to translate the powerful feeling you have in your heart for your lover.CAN U OR ANYbody translate that

    BEAUTIFUL feeling ?

  • I'm not Egyptian,Arab nor Moslem nor do I understand Arabic but it's with out a doubt that Um Kolthoum's voice is eternal & so beloved by millians in the Arab World & the world at large. May God bless you & we remember you...always

  • So what are you? You must be someone unique to understand how great this woman is. I am not Arab too and I love her to death.

  • these videos are worth solid gold. They are great documents to be saved. Thanks for sharing them!

    APK

  • Allah yaragmak ya Ummu Gulsum, Allah yaragmak fi dunya wa ahira! selam min TURK (*

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. This is one of my favorite songs and have been looking for audio video for years. THANK YOU.

  • A while back,a very kind Om Kulthoum student who probably listens to her day & night & worships her as I do, sent me the name of web site for her songs in Arabic. If that wonderful person is still out there, would you please resend them to me. I remember, he called Om Kulthum, ya galbi which is so apt & so beautiful!! Please send that site to me again with all my gratitude.

  • God bless her where ever she is

  • You see I have a feeling that Om Kulthum never married because no one, absolutely no one that could match her passion & nobility!! Not one man had a chance because they were human and she was divinity, Helen of Troy could not hold a candle to her because maybe Helen caused the Trojan War but Om Kulthum brought about the age of nervana & ecstasy not just to the Arab world but so many in the non-Arabic-speaking world.

God bless you, YOUR MAJESTY !!!!!

  • Right on ruhiaini,

I could not say it any better.

  • i belive om kolthoum married once, she was married to a professor at cairo university medical school, he was a professor of dermatology, take care

  • Om Kulthum must've followed in the footsteps of those great poets of the past. I wish I knew who wrote this song but it does not treat the beloved, lover, sought-after-one, companion of one's soul as any living breathing thing. It's as if he's a god & indeed when we love someone, we don't see them as mortal humans because love turns them into magical ethereal beings that only inhabit the heavens.

  • Oh, Wow!!! And I thought I was never going to hear that song ever again. How can I thank you, Abuali 1986,? There are no words to express my deep gratitude!!! Thank you means nothing but I'll just say that knowing it's deficient in what I want to express.

  • wow dont have a singel word for this women GOD BLESS HERR alah yaragmak ya OUM KALTHOUM alah yaragmak fi dounia wa agiraha

  • OM KALTHOUM 1904-1975

  • Thank you for this info. & that was a sad day for all of us Arabs because it meant that part of our sould ascended to heaven never to return. So, we better guard her treasures & pass them on to the future generation so unfortunately growing with "boos el-wawa's cheap meat market!!" Oh, God, forgive me for saying Um Kulthum's name "Elkhaled" in the same breath as the cheap, trashy merchandise of today!!! LOVE YOU, QUEEN OF ALL QUEENS ,always with all of my my undying devotion!!!!

  • The most beautiful voice ever..

  • i love u forever, the best ever came as singer
