@davejansen101 You both know something that artists are public figures and are supposed to be judged by their AUDIENCE?! They make their living by their PERFORMANCES! If you like this massacre of great Mozart, enjoy! I have my OPINION! I have DVD with Kowalski as Farnace in the fantastic Govent Garden production. So, I know what it should be, and that Mozart deserves more respect that this! Grow up yourself first if you are so intolerant to other people's opinions who care about BEAUTY in opera!

@astarte82 So be it. Again do you know anything that tastes differ, and one finds something good, another just AWFUL?! What about people booing at some live performances? I'd definitely boo at this schizofrenical interpretation of great Mozart! It doesn't mean that I hate Mehta personally, but as he as an artist... I have the right to express my ATTITUDE to what I see on stage and hate such "killing" of BEAUTY! If they want such "innovations" let them write their own music and make CIRCUS of it!
