:O do you breed them ad are you selling? If so msg me i would like to buy a veiltail and a tosakin if you dont can you please tell me where you got them?
I've read that Tosakin are difficult to breed because of how over developped there tail fins are and oftenly have to be hand striped in order for them to reproduce.
People are breeding this sort of gold fish because they look very pretty, but what they dont knw is they have severe biomechanic deformation restricting them from swimming efficiently and with ease, this is why they eat so mucha nd produce so much waste!
Beautiful goldfish, that's a queen alright. With her regal cape of a tail, her beautiful fins, such beautiful colors too. I'd love to get a hold of a tosakin, are they rare? I dunno which breeders to contact~ <3 What a unique looking tail I've never seen a tosakin before. What a golden treasure, the owner of that goldfish is indeed lucky.
Tosakin is one of the hardier goldfish available today. Forget Ranchu and Oranda. These are problematic and perhaps genetically weakened and are they ever prone to swim bladder disorder and hole-in-the-head and other problems, inspite of the care, expensive medication and injections you give them, even in a "closed" tank. If you feed them live and frozen foods, then diseases are close behind; you're "closed" system is not "closed" anymore. Live plants, anyone? My tosakins are the survivors.
Are you in the US? Drop me a line and I'll tell you where to buy them cheaper, but don't expect them to swim gracefully like an oranda. If you don't mind seeing a bunch of tumblers in your aquarium, then contact me. I don't sell them myself.
Most Tosakins are clumsy swimmers. Most point their heads downward, or at an unnatural angle when they're in stasis. Some have deformed caudal fin. Buyers, beware. Weak? My tosakins are strong, pampered, and they actually live in a 75 gal aquarium for the last three years. Contrary to certain beliefs, they are fast swimmers and very aggressive, especially when they're young.

Wherever you are, there are goldfish shows that might have them. In the UK, the annual festival of fishkeeping has them =)

It's true that there is not enough water for it in there. But I think that is for display and not a permanent home.
Beautiful goldfish, I am sure it have a big tank to be in, such beautiful goldfish really deserves it
