you look at photos of hippos and don't fully realize how huge they are, until you see them in a photo with a man for comparison- and then, it is easy to understand how truly powerful they are. Even with all that , it looked like this hippo was not really interested in hurting anyone- he seemed content to either ignore people nearby or merely to chase them off. The best thing people can do is leave animals alone, and treat them with decency and humaneness(word is an misnomer)

@Spkr99 talleho was talkin about bite force and hippos DON'T have stronger bites than crocs i would estimate a bull hippo to have a bite around 3000-3500 lbs max a cros has twice dat i saw the episode baout bite force and a big croc bit down with 5000 lbs and it didnt look like it put its max effort not to mention it wasn't the largest nile croc but overall crocs and hippos in general have mutual respect
