  • Sounds like...The Cars.

  • He's one of the guys of Status Quo

  • The stretched sound is exactly as it was on the original vinyl LP, which I happen to own. I really love this guys voice.

  • fantastisch

  • Kinda reminds me of Todd Rungren.

  • I CAN´T BELIEBLE GREAT VIDEO

  • fantastic, havent head in years, thanks for posting

  • This song reminds me of my eighth birthday in April 1979. This video was shown on the Dutch television then ("nieuw" is the Dutch word for "new").

  • great song, but the sound has come out all stretched - is it via a usb turntable thing? wonder if there are any digital versions anywhere...!

  • Not sure where the sound came from...found the video on another website. I do have a version of the song on my ipod from vinyl that I uploaded from my usb turntable. It's slightly faster, but not much. If you'd like to hear it, message me your email and I'll send it to you. :)

  • what a great song+ plus a good singer and keyboared player

  • I know what that song needs ! some guitars in there to Quo it up a bit )

  • its been done, listen to the Ain't Complainin album

  • I don't think its Andy singing the Quo version, but it does sound like Francis is really copying him!

Andrew should get some lead vocals in Quo. Too good a vocalist to waste. Even Peter Frampton knew that.

  • I agree :)

  • Thanks, Wingspan. Big mystery to me why he doesn't or they won't allow him to. He's been a full member with them ever since he left the Frampton band - ironically enough right on the eve of the mega-success of "Frampton Comes Alive". For my money it was the Frampton-Andrew-Rick Wills- Siomos band that should've been on "FCA" even as much as I respect the late Bob Mayo, RIP.

  • He did vocals on a song called Calling the Shots by Quo, Lead Vocals at that, its not bad

  • What album is it on?

  • Its on the remastered album 1982 as a bonus track, it was B side of something I believe

  • @rockon1898 going aground....

NOEL EDMONDS was a big fan of this

when I lived in the UK.

    UK/USABOY.....

  • @rockon1898 It sounds like Francis Rossi on backing vocals on this - particularly where they sing 'I may never see home again..'
