I saw it repeated on tele but never the kiss and began to think I had imagined it as I was a boy. 25 years later in Geneva where people are not sexually repressed I saw the film in the cinema and there was the kiss. Hoorah, I wasn't crazy. And I don't understand the censorship. This was not sexual...piquant yes, certainly not vulgar. Superb! Marlene, von Sternberg....thank you and them for the sheer joy.

Any woman can throw on a skimpy dress and high heels and call themselves sexy. But it truly takes a special kind of woman, to be sexy while fully dressed from head to toe. It takes a combination of swagger, attitude and confidence to pull that off. And anyone who can make both men AND women swoon is truly a knockout, end of story ;-)
