Thanks! At the time, the whole thing needed a lot of work. When I rebuilt it several years later, I finally had it where I wanted it (but the wings are totally trashed now, LoL)
Yeah it was pretty expensive but I would say most of the expense was having to guild it every year. Yeah I can give you some advice. What would you like to know? I do recommend looking at my "Draconian Costume: New Version" video. The components where much improved.
hey interesting costume ^^ I know the guy called it a gargoyle... is it a gargoyle or something else? You can never tell really unless you ask the person under it :) I love the effect of the wings, altho from one shot it looked like they folded up too high. Never mind, they look better than still, lifeless ones any day!
Thank you. It is a draconian from the Dragonlance novels. It is a cursed dragon that is born with the dimensions of a human. Never thought of the wings being too high. Just glad when they were working :) If you get a chance, take a look at the video I put up of the new version of the costume. It was vastly improved.
a draconian from dragonlance, yeah i can see that now. i read the books, but everyone pictures something different when something is described ^^ yeah fur sure id be interesting in checking out the new one.
Great costume! I saw you pose with those two tall blondes at the Hyatt Saturday night. I didn't like the "grab your horns and bend you over" pose but by the way those two were dressed, that was probably their thing.
Thank you! It took the same amount of work on the rebuild this year but it was well worth it again :) Just wish I could have got some video of the new version...
Just silly over reactions, I guess. I've rebuilt the costume this year and now my arms and legs have spikes portruding out as well. They could defenitely do more damage than a plastic sword (not that I would use them for anything bad ;)
That was sooo cool, you some kinda freakin genius or something. If I was Siskel or Ebert I would give you two thumbs up, but now all the D & D nerds have some good porn to enjoy.
Lovely :D

i imagined them more with a man-head covered in scales.

That sounds like it would be even more painful than the bodypaint :]
I loosely modeled my design after seeing a photo of a draconian lead figure in a D&D Battle Systems book; which had the dragon features.
