Hey man that sounds awesome. Well done! I just ordered the same guitar... soo excited. Im probably going to start recording some stuff soon and I was wondering what you use to record video and how you sink it to your mic. Any advise would be appreciated. I'll probably get the same mic you do too because your setup sounds amazing.
I am using a Canon Ixus 860. For audio its a Samson Gtrack USB condenser mix that u can get for $100. Awesome mix. There is an option to plug the guitar directly into the mix but I just place the mix in front of me and let it capture the guitar sound & vocal at the same time. I use Audacity (a free audio mixing s/w) with GTrack for the sound. I put them together using Ulead Video Studio 11. I discard the audio part of the video and replace it with the audio from the GTrack and post to Youtube.
That sounds like a lot of work... Is it? So would any video camera work? How easy is it to use that Ulead software? Do you need software to sink the mic to video?... Sorry for all of the questions I just want my setup to sound as good as yours does and you seem nice and willing to help me out. Thanks again!
Amazing! : )

Hi there, I am using a Samson Gtrack mic. It's a USB condenser mic plug directly to my laptop. Nice all round mics under $100..
