Well the truth is that most blacks in America are of mixed decent. Since neither black nor white depicts a place of origin it is in fact rational to say he is black by the color of his skin, because that is the only logical interpretation of the word itself as it applies to race.

We can start with him appointing someone as Director of Homeland Security who is against a border fence and who as governor of Arizona, wanted to give drivers' licenses to illegal aliens. Barbara Walters is still part of the Obama worship media. Her intro said Obama inherits the worst economy since the great depression. In reality, Reagan received both double digit inflation & double digit unemployment from Carter. She asked Obama about auto execs flying private jets but said nothing about Mr. & Mrs. Obama taking separate private planes to meet Bush in D.C. She didn't ask him a single difficult question. She asked him about smoking and his e-mail. Wow!

Knowledge of history is important and Barbara Walters overstating the problem to try to make Obama look good is typical of what passes for journalism today. If McCain had won, all of her questions would be aggressive & mean. When McCain was on The View, he was asked whether he wanted to bring back slavery.

Your statement insults all blacks and I don't think women were slaves in this country just because they were women. McCain never said he wanted to "change" the Constitution. He merely believes that its meaning should not be altered by judges who want to make stuff up. The amendments adopted after the civil war took care of slavery. Everyone, even people who win Oscars, should know that.

first off..i dont think any blacks would consider my statement insulting. 2nd: what did blacks and women have in common? neither had the right to vote! so yes being a woman for a time in history, was a sense of slavery! 3rd: what amendments do you speak of? Your lack of historical knowledge is a good argument for school choice. The Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolished slavery. It was ratified on 6 December 1865.

Being unable to vote is not the same as being a slave. If it were, then felons and illegal aliens would be "slaves" under your view. (Of course, ACORN would probably register them to vote under several different names anyway.)

As to the double air standard, yes, there are obvious security differences but presidents, senior leaders in the government, and their family all travel on the same plane at the same time. So far, only the Obamas have demanded his and her aircraft.

I admire Mrs. Obama's desire to keep her daughters on track with a normal child's responsibilities! Also, for Mr. Obama to say that his girls are "special" to them (Barack and Michelle), but not "special" in a way to avoid chores, such as homework, and making their beds. I really like this family!
